Provide the services of SME to support he Project Manager and Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) of the Tactical Communications Modernization (TCM) project.
You will have the opportunity to provide expert systems engineering embedded support for the development of a tactical communication system within the TCM project.
Tasks will include, but not limited to:
- Build a tactical communication system architecture based on project requirements and DND operational view provided by the project staff.
- Participate in TCM project management weekly working groups.
- Participate in TCM technical weekly working groups.
- Participate in the evolution of LCSS (Land Command Support Systems) MD (Mobile Domain) level design artifacts including - mission threads, system use cases, services and Enterprise Architect System Model to meet TCM requirements.
- Evaluate and provide recommendations for the evolution of LCSS MD to the TCM system level architecture. Recommendations, at a minimum, will outline anticipated issues and list design options to address those issues.
- Comment and provide recommendations on an approach to evolve the LCSS MD System Management (SM) tools to a modern tool suite aligned with the chosen TCM system level architecture. Recommendations, at a minimum, should factor in TCM systems requirements, TCM architecture and the design and development work required to implement the TCM specific system management tools. Participate in TCM technical reviews (e.g. system requirements reviews, design reviews, integration and test readiness reviews)
- Support the TCM Engineering team in the evolution of existing engineering processes and define engineering process improvements in the context of TCM requirements.
- Support the development of the TCM architecture to ensure that its system components not only interoperate correctly with one another but also appropriately interface and operate with external systems when required. Support work will include drafting the principles and guidelines used to govern the evolution of the TCM architecture and its system components over time.
- Provide architectural advice to non TCM stakeholders and other DLCSPM stakeholders, including those developing request for proposals to acquire system components.
- Proof of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) bachelor’s degree in network, software, computer, systems, electrical or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR. (copy will be required)
- Must have demonstrated Professional Engineer License within Canada.
- Preference will be given to candidates that already hold an existing Secret level clearance with PSPC/PWGSC. (contract requirement)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Systems Architect for Military Command and Control and Info Systems, or ISTAR systems.
- Must have 10 years’ experience in at least 1 of the following criteria:
- Analyzing, designing and/or implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas:
- Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment.
- Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment.
- Military ISTAR systems.
- Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and
- System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience in system integration, verification and validation, for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing systems, in one of the following areas:
- Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment.
- Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment.
- Military ISTAR systems.
- Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and
- System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems.
- Demonstrated work experience as a systems engineer in communication and information systems (Hardware, Software and Network) or Specialty engineering (Security, Modeling, Simulation,

- Ability to demonstrate at least 8 years of demonstrated experience within the last 10 years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering (i.e. System, software, computer, communication, security, or simulation) experience.

- Communicating IT frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
- Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.

The Senior Quantum System Architect is responsible for building system architecture design for silicon-based quantum computation. The architect is a deeply creative systems engineer with years of experimental quantum technology expertise. While many concepts from classical computer architecture – microarchitecture, instruction set, etc. – will continue to be useful, the many challenges of developing a quantum computing system will inspire new concepts and techniques. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting ADP customers across various industries to solve their labor productivity, costs, industry-specific complexities, and scheduling needs.
This position will collaborate directly with clients to develop and implement processes that ensure the effective deployment and ongoing support of our Workforce Management (WFM) solutions. The primary objective is to design WFM systems tailored to each client's industry, ensuring seamless integration with their existing technology landscape and business requirements.
The role requires deep expertise in WFM modules, troubleshooting issues, and delivering successful resolutions. Additionally, it involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive sales, streamline implementations, and provide escalation support to ensure optimal client outcomes with ADP's solutions.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop overall architecture of WFM systems to ensure the solution meets the client's needs, by understanding their industry-specific needs and developing tailored Workforce Management (WFM) deployment strategies, including the right technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Provide expert guidance on WFM modules, including setup, customization, and optimization.
- Work with ADP customers to solve business challenges specific to their industry market.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, and end-users, to gather and document functional and technical requirements for the WFM system, ensuring seamless integration with other organizational systems (e.g., HR, Payroll, CRM, ERP) for smooth data flow and accuracy.
- Support the escalation process by addressing complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with sales education and coordinate training efforts relative to product offerings across industries.
- Assist in the creation of vertical presentation (industry market), including client-specific demonstration materials.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to monitor system performance and identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Act as an advisor to the Product Management group to ensure effective vertical positioning of WFM,
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in implementing, supporting, or consulting on ADP or UKG WFM solutions.
- 3+ years of ADP or UKG WFM Consulting Experience.
- Deep expertise in ADP or UKG Workforce Management solutions, including configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and demonstrating strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Be able to carry on a mature dialogue with key client leaders to explain the complexities of the architecture of the WFM solution in simple language.
- Previous business services and/or business software experience
- Excellent verbal, and written communication and presentation skills are required.
- The capability to conceptualize, negotiate, and sell ideas internally and externally is essential.
- The ability to generate and implement concepts, ideas, and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment is necessary.
- Must be a strong team player.
*Quebec candidates: While French is required for Quebec-based roles, use of the English language is also required due to the global nature of the business and the need to interact with ADP's headquarters and international sites.

- 5+ ans d'expérience dans la mise en œuvre, le support ou le conseil sur des solutions ADP ou UKG WFM.
- 3+ ans d'expérience en conseil ADP ou UKG WFM.
