As the **Manager, Risk Management** you will be part of the **Vendor Information Risk Management** team and conduct assessments on information security controls. In this role, you will measure the effectiveness of the security controls, identify control gaps, and provide business advice and guidance on the various IT risks and/or contract gaps associated with the supplier.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5 to 7 years of IT work experience, including 2 to 3 years IT auditing or equivalent experience
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent
+ CISA is required
+ CRISC or CISSP preferred but not required
+ Excellent organization and planning abilities
+ Understanding of IT controls, audit and risk management

**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Assist for the design, implementation, revision and approval of contract language related to insurance and indemnity language for Bombardier Aerospace and its divisions worldwide based upon the corporations Risk Management philosophy.
+ Assist for the training, development and the integration of newly hired personnel in Contract, Supply and Procurement staff at BA worldwide on the integration and application of base contract insurance and indemnity language to be included in their templates relative to the sale of aircrafts, purchase of supplies, products and services, etc.
+ Assist for the design, negotiation and management of insurance programs related to the Corporations' construction projects with the direct involvement of insurers and assistance from the Corporation's insurance brokers.
+ Participate in the identification, quantification and evaluation of the Corporation's material risks incurred during its operations (assets, business interruption, civil liability, etc).
+ Follow renewal process, timelines and critical path with external supplier.
+ Participate market submissions including the gathering and analysis of underwriting data and communications with the Groups/Divisions.

The Senior Manager, Risk Management and Taxation leads, manages and is accountable for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance as well as providing oversight of the Risk and Controls Program. The Senior Manager provides financial advisory services to assist in planning and adapting to changes in the regulatory regime.

The Risks and Controls workgroup partners with the other areas of the company to ensure a strong environment for internal controls. It does this by establishing and developing the Risk and Controls framework and providing guidance to the businesses to execute against this framework.

The Senior Manager works with a wide network of internal and external contacts and leads a team of analysts.

Special requirements and working conditions include occasional overnight travel and work outside regular business hours to meet deadlines, as needed.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA) and is a member in good standing. Indicate the year of CPA designation.
  Note: If your designation was obtained from outside of Canada, you will need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through an applicable Canadian Accounting Association.
• Recent, related experience must have occurred in the last 5 years and must include the following:
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent, related experience as a financial manager, leading financial compliance, taxation for an organization with multiple business units.
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations to improve financial advice, stewardship and services.
  • 2 years minimum supervisory experience or leading a team in financial and/or administrative roles.
• Preference may be given to candidates with any of the following experience:
  • Experience in enterprise risk management.
  • Financial experience in a wholesale/retail distribution environment.
  • Auditing experience including assessment of internal controls.
