The Learning Design and Development Senior Analyst (Instructional Designer) consults and collaborates with other Learning Design and Development Senior Analysts, Learning Advisors, Business Partners, Subject Matter Experts, Trainers, and project teams to design and develop effective and engaging training. The Learning Design and Development Senior Analyst has a growth mindset, is adaptable and curious, and applies adult learning theories and Instructional Design methodology to create interactive training solutions using a variety of learning modalities, (mobile learning, web-based training, social learning, adaptive learning, self-directed learning, virtual and in-class facilitation, job aids and other training materials).
**Responsibilities:**
- Designs and develops training programs and learning materials using a variety of learning methodologies designed for classroom and web-based delivery mediums; integrating adult learning theory and creativity into all design elements for the creation of an interactive and effective learning experience.
- Determines and develops appropriate training solutions for assigned projects, based on the outcome of analyzing business needs, performance goals, and audience.
- Creates, deploys, and maintains eLearning solutions using tools such as dominKnow, Area 9, SymTrain, and Adobe Creative Suite. Solutions include WBTs, systems and business simulations, scenario and game-based learning, audio, video, and additional media, as needed.
- Participates in the program design process by conducting needs assessments; task analysis; research of knowledge tasks; working with subject matter experts to validate content; and the creation of supporting design documents including story boards and mock-ups. Development includes constructing end-user classroom materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and writing supporting documentation
- Creates measurement strategy for client solutions to include the overall assessment approach.
- Reviews and tests learning products for quality and adherence to technical standards.
- Researches current industry best practices in learning as well as eLearning and applies in instructional solutions
**Qualifications:**
This position requires a bachelor's degree, or comparable experience in eLearning, Instructional Design, or a related field and/or eLearning Technical Certifications from certified institutions and experience. Other qualifications include:
- 4 + years of Instructional Design/eLearning/multi-media experience
- Experience with the following content authoring tools desired: dominKnow, Brainshark, Area9, Symtrain. Adobe, Camtasia, SnagIt, and Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, After Effects, and Audition
- Knowledge of LMS systems, and creating compliant content that functions within an LMS
- Knowledge of Web-based Training (WBT) creation, along with creation of media such as audio, video, custom animations/interactions, custom graphics, etc.
- Instructional design - knowledge of adult learning principles, assessment, needs analysis, job task analysis
- Experience providing instructional design across modalities (i.e. face-to-face, hybrid and online courses)
- Visual design - knowledge and experience in how to craft the visual experience that works best with course content
- Experience design - knowledge and experience in creating user interfaces that facilitates the best learning experience
- Adult Education in a financial services and/or corporate setting a plus

**What are your contributions to the team?**
+ Develop work package (WP) Statement of Work, in line with the technical requirement of the program.
+ Harmonize WP schedule and rally the technical teams behind meeting the schedule including supplier
+ Ensure measures are in place to organize and control the tasks, the priorities & budget control, with appropriate levels of visibility to issues and risks and associated mitigation plan.
+ Organize and chair Integrated Working Team (IWT) meeting, and the periodical reviews while following the BES development phases
+ Be an active participant in the Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT), and rally WP active participation.
+ Prepare visibility on the work package and associated project deliverables, in line with the A/C level requirement

+ Coordinate with other project organization (Bombardier Flight Test Center, Completions, .)
+ Assist for generic tools deployment with the platforms and prepare Bombardier Project Management policies
+ Deploy process for Lessons Learned and Best Project Practices onto the platform
+ Provide platform support to the PMO change harmonization process and lead the planning and execution of the required technical changes.
**How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:**
+ Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent. Master degree and/or PMI certification is an asset
+ Bombardier experience and good working knowledge of BES (Bombardier Engineering System) favored
+ In absence of BA knowledge, be able to describe in detail how previous work experience has prepared the candidate to lead the definition, implementation and execution of a complex engineering project
+ 5 year or more of relevant experience with multidisciplinary team in a specific aerospace engineering field
+ Have experience on 1 or more development programs, through the various stages of the lifecycle
+ Excellent multi-tasking, communication skills with the ability to influence without authority
+ Good knowledge in a specific field and a breadth of knowledge of many aircraft systems
+ You have superior skills in MS Office including MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel
+ Experience with PLM tools such as Siemens Teamcenter is an asset.
+ This position requires an organized person with leadership skills and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Logical and flexible mindsets, shows initiatives and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches.
