Job Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-ordinates the activities of the warehouse, including Shipper/Receivers and Material Handlers within the team to ensure efficient and effective shipments and part supply
Performs Shipping/Receiving functions
Ensures equipment is in working order and safety rules are followed
Follow-up on customer and supplier expedites
Provide good communication to ensure effective workflow
Reports daily tasks and updates data sheets
Directs the training of new employees within the team
Reports part shortages and ensures timely follow-up with Supervisors
Provides input in the performance review process

Responsible for following up on critical components as indicated by materials department
Follows and directs team to adhere to department/company procedures
Submit continuous improvement suggestions through Employee Involvement Program and encourage/assists employees to do the same
Ensures 5s initiatives gets carried out daily
Reviews and communicates all warehouse key indicators. Takes the initiative to drive opportunities and propose recommendations
Must be aware of relevance and importance of their activities and how it effects quality and the environment for our customers

- Ensure pallets are free of damage.

- Communicating, with absolute accuracy, all information required to create valid and proper Customs
Documentation.
- Ensuring schedule attainment. Escalating any product availability issues to Supervisor, managers or
commodity planners that may cause scheduled transfer departure to miss.
- Complete understanding of MPL receiving process and adhere to all MPL protocols.
- Assists receiving in accurately and timely receiving of all inbound loads.
- Monitors status of incoming orders with receiving management and admin.
- Follow commodity management allocations and change orders for transfers.
- Communicates well with Commodity Management on inbound quality issues.
- Understands the computerized process of receiving and transferring of goods in NAV.
- Must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other Company data, including
personnel information.

**Education/Background Requirements:**

- Operate and maintain all equipment such as pallet wrapper, pallet jacks and forklifts, and company vehicle, as instructed and per Sinclair Supply policies, procedures and practices;
- Fully comply with and complete all documentation as per Sinclair Supply health and safety policies, procedures and practices, and other legislation and regulatory requirements including strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements;
- Complete required training and education as per Sinclair Supply policies, procedures and practices, and relevant legislation and regulation;
- Actively partake in staff meetings and required working groups;
- Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working environment as directed; and
- Any other related tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or other senior leadership.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Previous forklift experience and/or ability to attain forklift certification, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS certifications
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and be active for duration of shift
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficiency in basic computer skills to utilize Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to safely lift 50lbs while unassisted
- Basic English language proficiency in reading and writing

We are moving to 100 Newman St, Ingersoll, ON N5C 3J8, Canada.
The Target start date in Ingersoll is October 1, 2025, with 4-6 weeks of training in Brantford.
Pay Rate - CAD 23-$25/HR
Pay is weekly every Friday.
Led a department of 3-6 in daily communication meetings and issued each team member their daily workload. Train, motivate, and lead the department to meet all daily production and safety goals while taking direction from the shift supervisor. Take on accountability for all department operations, actions, and results.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce Safety and Company policies
- Train and assist order pickers, checkers, and loaders as required
- Assist in the development of department performance and productivity standards
- Hands-on as needed based on workload and workforce
- Maintain and update start, hourly, and end-of-shift reports
- Attend all department and company meetings as required
- Assist the shipping supervisor in directing workflow
- Provide input for employee evaluations
- Complete and/or coordinate department projects as assigned
- Maintain good housekeeping
