Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the program by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards.
- Supervise and interact with children and youth in a positive and supportive manner to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
- Transporting participants in Agency Vans to various sites for recreational purposes.
- Establish open communication with parents/care givers.
- Plans and implements activities and special events for a program.
- Promotes public awareness of and support for the program by performing duties such as producing promotional materials and attending community events.
- Maintains related records and statistics and produces reports as required.
Qualifications:
- A diploma, certificate and/or relevant experience working with children in recreation, education or other social services.
- Current First Aid certificate
- Class 5 Driver License
- Successful completion of Agency screening including a Criminal Record Check
This position is open to all applicants
Hours: This is a casual position hours will vary week to week. The program runs Monday to Saturday, some weekend work required. Hours dependent on program needs.
Rate of Pay: $20.41 per hour

- Build relationships with the children, youth, and families within their designated programs. Establishes open communication with parents/caregivers.
- Use Club vans to pick up members from school and transport to various sites if required.
- Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for members
- Provides group and/or individual behavior management and support.
- Ensures Agency Policies and Procedures, Program Operating Standards, WCB standards, Community Care Licensing Regulations, Risk Management requirements and general safety standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Education in childcare and/or experience planning, implementing and evaluating childcare programs.
- First Aid Certificate and Food Safe or willingness to obtain
- Class 5 Drivers License and/or willingness to obtain Class 4 DL as soon as possible for some roles
- Must be at least 19 years of age as per licensing requirements
- Successful completion of Agency screening including a Criminal Record Check
Hours: casual hours available, Monday to Friday, between 1:30pm 6:30pm
Rate of Pay: $20.41 per hour
