We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our team, working out of our Saint-Laurentoffice.
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, our Service Technicians provide exceptional technical and customer service, ensuring maximum performance on all ATMs. Service Technicians diagnose and repair ATMs, communicating and resolving any technical issues with customers. This individual will be responsible to service customers in and around the greater Montreal area.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stage new and used ATM terminals and ensure functionality and cleanliness, programming with correct parameters and testing communications.
- Install and uninstall ATM terminals on-site.
- Provide basic training to new customers on site on ATM loading and troubleshooting procedures, demonstrating machine functionality.
- Guide customers over the phone to resolve issues, troubleshooting a series of procedures in order to resolve issues.
- Conduct in-person service maintenance when issues cannot be resolved remotely, diagnosing, repairing and testing terminal for full functionality.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on ATMs on site.
- Provide support to internal departments and external customers, as required by helping with technical information support, explaining how to fix issues.
- Provide weekday on-call support in the evenings and weekend on-call supportto customers, as necessary on a rotating schedule with other Service Technicians within the team.
- Perform inventory counts in vehicles, ensuring accuracy and that tools and equipment are in working order.
- Maintain company vehicle provided, ensuring all regular maintenance occurs and reporting major issues.
- From time to time, this individual will complete other duties as assigned by management, to assist with special projects.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- High School Diploma required.
- Customer service training course, an asset.
- Technical schooling, an asset.
EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, & KEY COMPETENCIES
- 2 years experience fixing electronics and/or mechanical items either professionally or personally.
- At least 1 year of experience with online service call software, an asset.
- Valid Quebec drivers license, with clean driving record.
- Bilingual in English and French, both verbal and written.
- Ability to pass a criminal and credit background check.
- Understands the nature of shift and on-call working hour requirements.
- Understands how to conduct themselves in the customer-focused nature of the service industry.
- Astute attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Team-focused attitude, supportive of co-workers.

Duties:
Address customer needs and service their equipment.
Read diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering specifications, and service manuals to determine best practices.

Resolve issues and restore equipment to optimal working conditions.

Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, or control systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to track job orders on computer.
Experience repairing or maintaining food processing, or automation machinery is highly desirable.
Must be flexible to travel by road and stay overnight or away from home, as required.
Industrial Electrical ticket an asset.
Must be able to travel to the USA and hold a valid passport.

$90,000-$110,000/year.

Technicien de service – Chariots élévateurs et équipement de manutention
Lieu : Saint-Laurent et région de Montréal
Salaire : Jusqu’à 48,00 $/heure (selon l’expérience)
Horaire : 42,5 heures par semaine
Vous êtes un technicien qualifié à la recherche d’une carrière stable et valorisante? Nous recrutons pour un concessionnaire et fournisseur de services reconnu dans le domaine des chariots élévateurs et de l’équipement de manutention.
Responsabilités principales :
Diagnostiquer et réparer les chariots élévateurs et l’équipement de manutention (électriques, au propane, et diesel).
Effectuer l’entretien préventif, les inspections et le dépannage des systèmes.
Identifier et corriger les problèmes mécaniques et électriques.
Communiquer avec les clients sur les travaux effectués et l’état de l’équipement.
Réparer et reconstruire les mécanismes de levage et autres composantes clés.
Tester et ajuster l’équipement pour assurer un rendement optimal.
Maintenir une attitude professionnelle et offrir un excellent service à la clientèle.
Qualifications :
Nous accueillons les candidats possédant l’un ou l’autre des profils ou certifications suivants :
Expérience avec les chariots élévateurs ou l’équipement de manutention
Mécanicien d’équipement lourd
Solides compétences en électricité combinées à une expertise mécanique

You can expect a salary in the range of $40,800.00 to $59,200.00 on the lower end for less experienced and more for well directly experienced professionals. Utilize your skills to:
- Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
- Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
- Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls
- Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access
**Basic Qualifications:**
- Local candidate to specific geographic area
- Authorized to work in the US
- At least 19 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license and driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
o Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
o Rotating and weekend shifts
o Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
o Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size
**Preferred Qualifications to qualify (not required, but nice to have)**
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification
- One or more years of related experience
