As a Technical Support Analyst for Wealth Systems, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to internal teams and end-users. You will ensure the smooth operation of wealth management software, troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, and offering solutions in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of wealth management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Technical Support: Offer timely and professional technical support for Wealth management systems addressing user inquiries and technical issues related to system functionalities, integrations, and performance.
  • Issue Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Analyze, diagnose, and resolve system issues related to wealth management platforms.  Use SQL querying tools to create and/or modify queries for analyzing and data gathering.
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of wealth systems, identify potential issues, and implement preventive measures to ensure the stability of the systems.
  • User Training and Guidance: Assist end-users by providing training on how to submit incidents correctly to the Support team, where applicable. Create and maintain user manuals and documentation for the support team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development, infrastructure, and product teams to resolve system bugs/issues, implement fixes, and contribute to system improvements.
  • Incident Management: Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues. Escalate unresolved issues to senior technical staff as necessary.
  • System Upgrades and Patches: Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Reporting: Provide regular status reports on system performance, ongoing support tickets, and other relevant metrics to management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in technical support, preferably supporting financial or wealth management systems. **Willing to hire a junior/new graduate with degree in Computer Science/Technology.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of Support ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and JIRA
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues across servers, databases and applications.
    • Lead investigations into system outages, incidents and service interruptions ensuring swift resolution and root cause analysis
    • Maintain and update technical documentation including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles and best practices in MS OneNote and/or Confluence.
    • Familiarity with SQL databases and querying tools.
    • Experience with system integrations and working with APIs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues with a strong focus on delivering customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal IT teams (application support, development, infrastructure) to implement patches, updates and configuration changes to improve system stability and security. Including engaging business stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail to ensure systems run optimally.
  • Must be able to work shift work, starting as early as 7am and working as late as 8pm, depending on the rotating shift assigned.

Our Team

What You Will Do

  • Learn the delivery standards and workflow processes for your assigned ILI product line
  • Regularly check in with team members to assess capacity and remove roadblocks or inefficiencies
  • Through frequent 1:1 meetings, track team members' progression in their role, deliver constructive feedback, and ensure they receive proper recognition for their work while building a roadmap for their career development
  • Facilitate communication between your team and other teams and upper management
  • Ensure employees are aligned with the company vision, and that the goals and direction of the team help drive achievement of the vision
  • Facilitate the improvement of workflow procedures and best practices; seek out new solutions, seek feedback, and investigate and implement improvement opportunities
  • Review projects assigned to Analysts on your team; you are responsible for the content and delivery of projects
  • Partner with Recruiting and other Team Leads to recruit and evaluate candidates; a high volume of growth and hiring is expected
  • Make informed recommendations for hiring, raises/promotions, performance management, and further training
  • Develop new and improve existing processes and standards

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • At least 2 years of engineering or science study at university, college, or technical school
  • Experience managing a team producing client deliverables (e.g. reports, analysis)
  • Experience managing early to mid-career individuals
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (e.g. ILI, pipeline or piping integrity, NDE/NDT, well integrity, well logging) or industrial asset inspection services

For this role, we anticipate paying $85,000 - $110,000 CAD per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.

Job Description: Salary: Maximum fee of $35,000 Request for Proposals Freshwater Literature Review and Data Analysis Commencing for October 2025 to March 2026 18 July 2025 PROPOSAL DEADLINE: Monday, September 8 by 5pm EDT PROPOSALS DELIVERED TO: Wildlife Conservation Society Canada 1.0 Background Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Canada is a national non-governmental organization with a mission is to save wildlife and wild places in Canada through science, conservation action, and by inspiring people to value nature. WCS Canada is affiliated with global WCS programs in more than 60 countries, and we are active at the science-policy interface in Canada and internationally. This RFP is issued by WCS Canadas Ontario Northern Boreal program, active since 2004 in the far north. As one of the few organizations with a continuous scientific presence in the region, we lead field-based research on large mammals, freshwater fish, and peatlands; co-develop programs with First Nations; collaborate with academic, government, and Indigenous researchers; and contribute to policy development to guide conservation decisions. 2.0 Contracting opportunity WCS Canada producing a report summarizing multiple years of freshwater ecological data that has been collected on the water quality, water chemistry, fish contaminants, and benthic invertebrates in northern boreal rivers in Ontario. We are seeking proposals (RFP) from qualified individuals or groups to support the completion of this report. We are requesting that individuals or groups submit a proposal outlining their qualifications, relevant experience, and proposed approach to conducting a literature review and statistical analyses of previously collected data. This work will inform and support the creation of a comprehensive and useful summary report by WCS Canada that outlines the status and trends in these northern boreal rivers. 3.0 Proposal Administration All requests for clarification and questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing no later than 5 September 2025 via email to Brianna Kim, Finance and Administrative Manager (indicate Freshwater Literature Review and Data Analysis on the subject line). Responses, if determined appropriate by WCS Canada, will be issued in writing to all known proposers. The review should prioritize sources that directly inform or contextualize the interpretation of the collected data; andOrganize identified literature into a database that includes a summary for each resource.Provide assistance and support for summarizing the literature review and data analyses into a final report to be written by WCS Canada staff. Termination Either party may terminate this Agreement without cause by furnishing at least 30 days written notice to the other. In such event, Contractor will be paid only for services actually rendered to the date of termination. With reasonable cause, either party may terminate this Agreement immediately upon written notice to the other. Contractor shall not incur any additional expenses between the date of notice of termination and the date of termination without the prior written consent of WCS Canada. 4. Confidentiality Contractor warrants that it will maintain in strict confidence WCS Canadas Confidential Information (as defined below) to which it has access during the term of this Agreement. Contractor will treat WCS Canadas Confidential Information with the same standard of care that it uses in maintaining its own Confidential Information, provided that that standard is not negligent. Contractor will use WCS Canadas Confidential Information only as is required by this Agreement, and will not reveal it to a third party without the prior written consent of WCS Canada, or unless it is required by law to reveal it. About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Cybersecurity and Technology Risk is a member of the Corporate Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Team, reporting to the Director, Cybersecurity & Technology Risk. This role is responsible for ensuring the corporate cybersecurity program is applied across Brookfield Renewable portfolio companies. Responsibilities include ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of the corporate cybersecurity through program development, guidance, and assessment of implementation.


Key Responsibilities

You will work collaboratively with internal teams and portfolio company cybersecurity personnel to:

  • Ensure that policies, standards, and guidance are complete and up to date.
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidance to address changes in technology and risk landscape.
  • Monitor and improve Portfolio Company compliance with policies and standards, with a focus on ensuring key cybersecurity controls are in place.
  • Assist in reporting to senior management on key performance indicators and risk remediations activities across the global portfolio.
  • Provide technical expertise translated into business language for an executive audience.
  • Review network architecture based on Information Technology (IT), Cloud, or Operation Technology (OT).
  • Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to portfolio company IT and OT leaders.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity assessments and incident response tabletop exercises.
  • Support incident response within portfolio companies.
  • Aid other team members within Cybersecurity & Technology Risk as required.


Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP or other relevant security related designations
  • 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity including but not limited to governance, incident management, policy development, and security assessment.
  • Experience with OT cybersecurity and critical infrastructure regulatory requirements is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO27001, IEC 62443).
  • Excellent oral and written language skills. English is essential, additional languages are an asset.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
  • Strong people skills, able to build relationships at all levels.

About the Role

The Senior Analyst, Cybersecurity and Technology Risk is a member of the Corporate Cybersecurity & Technology Risk Team, reporting to the Director, Cybersecurity & Technology Risk. This role is responsible for ensuring the corporate cybersecurity program is applied across Brookfield Renewable portfolio companies. Responsibilities include ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of the corporate cybersecurity through program development, guidance, and assessment of implementation.


Key Responsibilities

You will work collaboratively with internal teams and portfolio company cybersecurity personnel to:

  • Ensure that policies, standards, and guidance are complete and up to date.
  • Develop policies, standards, and guidance to address changes in technology and risk landscape.
  • Monitor and improve Portfolio Company compliance with policies and standards, with a focus on ensuring key cybersecurity controls are in place.
  • Assist in reporting to senior management on key performance indicators and risk remediations activities across the global portfolio.
  • Provide technical expertise translated into business language for an executive audience.
  • Review network architecture based on Information Technology (IT), Cloud, or Operation Technology (OT).
  • Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor to portfolio company IT and OT leaders.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity assessments and incident response tabletop exercises.
  • Support incident response within portfolio companies.
  • Aid other team members within Cybersecurity & Technology Risk as required.


Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP or other relevant security related designations
  • 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity including but not limited to governance, incident management, policy development, and security assessment.
  • Experience with OT cybersecurity and critical infrastructure regulatory requirements is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks (NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISO27001, IEC 62443).
  • Excellent oral and written language skills. English is essential, additional languages are an asset.
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration.
  • Strong people skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
  • Team-oriented; demonstrates a commitment to shared success above any personal accomplishment or recognition.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt quickly to changing priorities as well as various workstreams in parallel.

Full Stack Developer - Financial Technology

About the Role:
As a Full Stack Developer in our Financing and Transaction Banking (FTB) team, you'll play a vital role in building innovative financial solutions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that power complex financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our FTB applications.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Agile Development: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient delivery.
  • CI/CD: Contribute to the automation of our CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment.

The team also maintains close relationships with Capital One US counterparts and business partners to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior, and to drive business to meet long-term goals

  • Business ownership: Have an ownership mindset, and P&L accountability for business cases. Strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon

  • Leadership: May eventually manage and develop a team of analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates throughout the organization with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One

  • Execution: Coordinate and collaborate across the business to manage and sequence delivery of business cases and initiatives, build business requirements and execute against the growth strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
