ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain Geospatial (Arcmap) databases
- Collect and compile peatland activity and harvest data
- Collaborate with the Natural Resource Manager on projects in New Brunswick and Quebec to prepare and submit land applications for approval.
- Foster long-term relationships and partnerships with diverse government and non-profit organizations.
- Prepare and track the capital expenditure request for peatlands
- Oversee peatland development and coordinate with the peatland restoration team
- Assist with quality sampling processes
- Assist with the monitoring of our Veriflora certification standard
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of the peat industry is an asset
- Experience in obtaining permits and government applications would be an asset
- Experience collaborating with First Nations groups, government departments, and consultants would be beneficial.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other database systems

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry or Environmental Studies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Walking, sitting, and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- The environment can sometimes be dusty and noisy.
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions is possible, and temperatures can be hot or cold, depending on the site

Are you passionate about helping teams succeed by making systems work better for people? If yes, join our dynamic team as an Analyst, Resource Management Systems where you'll play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Senate Enterprise Resource Management System (ERP).
In this client-facing role, you'll be the first line of support for Senators' offices and the Senate Administration —resolving issues, managing incidents, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You'll also participate in configuring and testing system updates, maintaining user access and security, and developing training and support materials to empower users. This role also works closely with clients to gather requirements, analyze needs, and propose solutions for enhancements, including financial and HR reporting.
We're looking for a bilingual problem-solver with strong communications & analytical skills, ERP experience, and a collaborative mindset. This position requires an in-office presence minimum of two days per week (subject to change), with flexibility based on operational requirements.

Prerequisites
- Post-secondary education in a field related to the duties of the position or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience;
- Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Unit4);
- Familiarity with configuring applications and supporting users;
- Ability to create or maintain technical documentation and user guides;
- Experience delivering training or onboarding users to new system features;
- Strong client service orientation;
- Knowledge of HR, finance, procurement, or asset management processes;
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) models;

Job Description:
- Collaborate with the Mine Planning team to develop comprehensive short and mid-range mine plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Utilize advanced software to optimize mine plans, considering equipment utilization, ore sequencing, and waste management.
- Conduct regular site visits and pit tours to monitor mining progression, identify bottlenecks, and propose adjustments for optimal productivity.
- Work with the Mine Engineering team to review and optimize design standards for the autonomous fleet.
- Integrate within the production planning, maintenance, and reliability teams to provide recommendations for daily practices on site.

Qualifications:

- Registration as a Professional Engineer in BC or Alberta is an asset.
