As a
**Housekeeper** , reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.
**This position is safety sensitive and requires drug, alcohol and fit to work testing as a condition of employment.**
**Your work will include:**
Conducting walk-downs - cleaning 30 rooms per day and may vary depending on client occupancy.
Full housekeeping services in guest rooms and hallways.
Making the beds and changing linen weekly; or as needed.
Vacuuming and dusting all room furniture blinds including hallways.
Washing, scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom, windows and mirrors.
Emptying garbage from all sleeping areas including trash and recycling collection.
Washing and folding towels, linens and beddings.
Loading and unloading laundry and linen truck as well as supplies.
Maintaining an accurate record of all bedding allotted in lodge, assist with the inventory, and report any shortages to the Lodge Manager.

The Housekeeper performs housekeeping services for the Swan Hills Treatment Centre (SHTC) plant site. The housekeeping services play a critical role in mitigating cross-contamination of hazardous-waste products between the controlled areas of the plant site. Housekeeping services includes daily cleaning of all office buildings on plant site and the cleaning of company-rented accommodation in the town of Swan Hills as required. The Housekeeping Department has responsibility for the laundrying of all company-provided clothing (both indoor and outdoor) for both employees and contractors on site as all work clothing worn on site is not allowed to leave the plant site.
This position operates within a COR, ISO 17025 certified, and OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 conforming plant environment and is expected to comply with all regulatory requirements. The facility operates on a 24/7 basis.
**Main Responsibilities:**
The duties of the Housekeeper are as follows, but not limited to:
+ Understands and promotes the Company's, the Division's, the Plant's, and the Department's mission statement, values, and strategic goals.
+ Proactively promotes through example a safe work ethic, attitude, and workplace. Complies with all health and safety policies, standards, and procedures to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff and visitors as well as the Company's, Client's and Regulatory Agencies safe work objectives and requirements.
+ Maintains effective working relationships and communications with peers, management, and other Company departments and staff. Effectively resolves any conflicts in a timely and respectful manner to achieve positive and healthy working relationships and workplace environment.
+ Promotes a quality-first work ethic and attitude to provide a service of the highest standard achievable.
+ Maintains confidentiality to comply with all regulatory requirements and Company Privacy and Confidentiality policies and procedures.
+ Safely operates company owned, leased, or rented vehicles and/or mobile equipment .
+ Stocks all required supplies such as paper towel, booties, janitorial supplies, etc.
+ Completes housekeeping tasks as assigned including, but not limited to:
+ Sweeping and washing of all floors in required buildings
+ Emptying of garbage

**Qualifications**
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience:**

+ Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday; and 6:00 am to 4:30 pm or 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
+ Position is based on a 40-hour work week.
+ With prior approval, incumbent has flexibility to adapt hours to meet business and personal needs.

**Job Specifications:**
+ Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $3.52 / hour
+ Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
+ Skill Level: Entry
Job Responsibilities:
+ Ability to safely work with hazardous and caustic chemicals
+ Ability to perform well under pressure
+ Exhibits high productivity in all cleaning assignments, including but not limited to replenishing of required amenities in all guest spaces as assigned
+ Retention of training, and seeking further knowledge as you learn more about your assigned role and role requirements
+ Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times
+ Willingness and ability to handle and maintain housekeeping tools and equipment as required based off your specified property
+ Other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements:**
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
The expected pay range is 20.00 - 23.52. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
