Who are you?
You are an experienced EVM Specialist with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment
Job DescriptionDevelop and implement EVM systems and processes tailored to project specific needs.
Track and analyze project performance metrics, including schedule and cost variances, to identify potential issues and risks.
Generate comprehensive EVM reports to inform stakeholders about project progress and performance.
Develop accurate forecasts of project costs and schedules based on earned value data.
Monitor and assess the impact of changes on project performance and adjust EVM forecasts accordingly.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks that could impact EVM metrics.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
Provide training and guidance to project teams on EVM principles and practices.
Design and implement digital dashboards and reports to visualize project performance.
Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights from project data.
Automate or facilitate automate report generation and distribution.
Collaborate with project teams to gather and clean data.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant subject
Strong understanding of EVM principles and methodologies
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Proficiency in data cleaning and analysis techniques
Ability to get a security clearance with Government of Canada
