**The Position:**
As a **Senior Accountant,** you will join our Financial Reporting team, reporting to the Director of Accounting & Reporting. The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of operational and financial reporting tasks, with responsibilities as follows:

+ Prepare and review journal entries, working papers and reconciliations

+ A professional accounting designation; CPA or working towards.
+ Minimum 4 years progressive experience in the accounting field, preferably in a high transactional industry or with an accounting firm
+ Thorough understanding of accounting standards, previous experience with US GAAP will be considered an asset.

+ The Channel Expansion Manager, Pet Business Unit is responsible for identifying and developing channel expansion opportunities to increase market penetration and revenue growth in the pet market. They will develop a comprehensive plan, including financials to expand into new markets. This role includes managing the financial aspects of channel expansion, developing and managing the P&L and focusing on gross to net calculations to ensure profitability. Additionally, it involves developing and executing commercial strategies that meet financial objectives in coordination with the Business Unit Director (BUD) and Marketing Manager.
+ The Channel Expansion Manager will use insights from business, market, and customer data analysis to guide promotional strategies within expanding channels. They will build a deep understanding of Boehringer Ingelheim's customers, partners, and shoppers to position Boehringer Ingelheim products as market leaders. They will develop relationships and attend key customer meetings.
+ The Channel Expansion Manager will create, produce, and implement ecommerce/trade marketing materials and customer-specific toolkits in alignment with brand managers. They will work with the BUD and Marketing Manager to deliver profitable growth in line with or above budget for the full Boehringer Ingelheim product portfolio across ecommerce/eretail and category expansion opportunities. They will work to position Boehringer Ingelheim as the strategic partner of choice to deliver long-term profitable growth in expanding categories.
+ This role requires close collaboration and communication with the Business Unit Director, Marketing Manager, and Director of CE to ensure alignment. They will work with Regulatory and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory requirements are met and product supply is aligned with business requirements. They will work collaboratively with all stakeholders in a matrix environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop and Implement Channel Expansion Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing/business plans that demonstrate a deep understanding of the market and the brands to expand to new evolving channels and increase market share. Build and agree (with leadership team and the customer) joint Business Plans in a timely manner in line with brand strategy and budget, and review these plans quarterly with the customer and BUD. Make the channel plan a reality, track progress and demonstrate proactive attitude if deviation predicted
+ Distribution Requirements: Collaborate with local and global RA and Supply Chain to identify product requirements needed to move product into expanded channels. Ensure logistics are set up to deliver the needs of the channel/customer
+ Pricing and commercial offers: Collaborate with MM, BUD and CE to design and implement pricing and commercial offers to ensure high profitability, alignment with gross to net corridors and achieve budgets.
+ Market Analysis: Conduct regular market assessments to identify new opportunities for channel expansion and stay ahead of industry trends. Using data and insights to drive planning and strategy. This includes identifying and localizing global initiatives
+ Key Brand strategies.
+ Partner Management: Develop, maintain and nurture exceptional relationships with customers and key business partners in expanding eretail/ecommerce channel.
+ Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics (KPIs) to optimize marketing efforts and ensure ROI.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure cohesive marketing strategies and successful product launches.

+ Forecast and track progress of rebate actuals against forecast and report on deviations and proposed solutions where required.

+ Provide input to monthly forecast to each brand manager responsible for brand moving into ecommerce channel.
+ Management of issues related to rebates, gross to net for direct with the customer and with BUD

This position is based in the Burlington, Ontario office located at 5180 South Service Road and is **flexible.**
Employees in flexible roles are required to be at the office a minimum of 50% of the time each month and must report to the office when requested and required by their Manager/Department.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Science and/or Marketing, MBA preferred, 5+years in Animal Health, or related field. Experience in eretial, ecommerce or similar.
+ Strong commercial focus
+ Experience in Brand/Trade/Customer marketing
+ Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle deadlines and multi- task

The ARC is hiring! We are currently looking to fill the part-time positionof Animal Care/Herdsperson to tend the animals in the ARC (Advanced Reproductive Centre) facility. The position is Monday to Friday morning and late afternoon, with every other weekend shifts from 6-8am and 4-6pm shifts.
Duties:
- Responsible for the timely feeding, cleaning, and care of animals within the IVF and other reproductive programs, that creates an overall wellbeing to maintain elite standards and results.
- Responsible to bring to the attention of management any concerns of injury, sickness, or any other matter that pertains to the wellbeing of any animal within the reproductive programs.
- Assist on routine herd health matters, and introduction of new animals into the system.
- Maintenance and safe use of equipment and machinery (skid steer, blowers etc.)
Dimensions
- Working weekday and alternating weekend shifts, with responsibilities to basic chore work for the upkeep of good livestock husbandry, plus any additional tasks that are required in the best interest of the ARC.
- Safe care and operation of any machinery to be used, after correct instruction.
Skill requirements
- Proven and demonstrated animal husbandry experience
- Ability to communicate on all levels
- Appreciates the importance of good documentation
- Ability to work under a specified system without supervision.

Salary: Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.
Schedule: Rotating shifts that include weekends, holidays, and occasional alarm response.

This is a physically active role where you’ll contribute directly to our production goals while working in a supportive, safety-first environment. If you’re someone who thrives in a team, enjoys working with animals, and values doing meaningful work, this could be the perfect fit for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Working closely with the Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations in the barn. This includes a variety of physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, lifting (up to 25kg), and continuous walking. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Feeding and providing general care for pigs.
- Maintaining herd health and clean and safe environment for pigs.
- Pressure washing and preparing rooms for animal entry.
- Performing minor maintenance and sanitation tasks.
- Completing clerical duties such as maintaining door charts, inventory trackers, and ordering feed and medication.
- Following all health and safety policies and adhering to Canada Packers’ SOPs for humane animal treatment.
- Commitment to wearing proper PPE and following safety protocols.
- Availability for weekend, holiday, and alarm shifts on a rotational basis.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to a rural location.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities and complex tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Alignment with Canada Packers’ Leadership Values and Code of Conduct.
- Experience in hog production is an asset.
