Responsibilities
Operate power and non-powered material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Other material handling equipment may be considered.
Loading and unloading trucks
Picking and put-away of all product types
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of inventory/stock, stock locations, model numbers, manufacturer specifications and handling instructions
Conduct all functions in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with all policies and procedures
Qualifications
Equipment operator experience on order picker is required. Experience on clamp truck is an asset. Other Material Handling Equipment experience will be considered.
Ability to prepare customer orders by operating material handling equipment to lift and carry product exceeding 50 lbs. on a regular basis (loading
sofas, etc.); some manual lifting is required to adjust the loads.
Proficient knowledge of safe material handling techniques
Able to meet deadlines
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends, as required
Ability to pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick

Key Responsibilities
- Filling compressed gas cylinders
- Filling propane LP tanks
- Assisting with loading delivery trucks
- Assisting in other plant duties
- Must own safety shoes and maintain a clean presentation
- Operating counterbalance forklift to load and unload products
- Additional duties as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
- 2+ years of Counterbalance Exp + Certification
- Must be able to work outside
- TDG certification is an asset (training provided)
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs at times occasionally 100 lbs
- Must have approved CSA safety boots
- Forklift certification with a minimum of 2 years counterbalance experience
- Must have a clean criminal record
