THE ROLE

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order picking, packing and stock replenishment
- Check and receive or ship inbound/outbound orders accurately

QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain management (or related field) OR 2 years warehouse/ distribution experience
- "Forklift experience (Reach or Counterbalance) and certificate required
- Strong reading & writing skills - must be able to read pick ticket/ packing slips and process in a timely manner
- Ability to read, understand, and prepare all shipping documents including waybills, B.O.L, and shipping labels
- Experience with courier companies (Purolator, DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Basic mathematical skills
- Proven skills in accuracy and attention to detail - extremely important
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Solid computer skills
- Complete daily assignments, meet deadline with accuracy, and demonstrate a sense of urgency

We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. This is an independent contractor position, M-F, 8hours/day. Warehouse associate will be responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling information.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Schedule distribution of goods, prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents
- Load and unload skids
- Route goods to appropriate storage areas
- Pack goods to be shipped/Unpack goods received
- Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
- Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments
- Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
- Preparing orders for shipment.
- Counting stock and keeping inventory records.
- Organizing the warehouse space.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Warehouse Associate Requirements:
- A high school diploma.
- Ability to stand for long hours
- Ability to lift 25-30lbs
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- The ability to follow instructions and be a good team player
- Hard working, organized and detail-oriented.
Hours of operation: 9:30-5:00pm/10:00-6:00pm
