Aerotek is currently looking for contractors to work in one of our large scale clients distribution facilities. In this position you will be a general laborer with duties such as loading, unloading, building pallets and other general warehouse duties. This position requires consistent lifting of up to 50lbs.
**Shift:**
Overnight shift, Saturday to Wednesday, 8:00pm - 4:30am
**Pay:**
$19 dollars an hour

**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
This role will focus primarily on warehouse duties such as shipping, receiving, and inventory control, while also supporting manufacturing activities such as staging raw materials, handling chemicals, and moving finished goods.
**Responsibilities**
Handle, store, and prepare shipments of dangerous goods in compliance with TDG and WHMIS standards.
Stage raw materials and supplies for production lines.
Move finished goods from production to warehouse storage.
Assist with decanting, repackaging, or blending materials.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
Prepare shipping labels and documents.
Load/unload trucks and move products between warehouse and production areas.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
**Essential Skills**
1+ years'' of warehouse or manufacturing experience
Forklift Operator certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) repeatedly and stand for long shifts.
Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks and safe chemical handling.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
**Work Environment**
The work environment requires full personal protective equipment, including a respirator. You will work in a small team with shift options of either 8:30 am u2013 4:30 pm Monday to Friday or 7:30 am u2013 5:15 pm Monday to Thursday. There is potential for overtime after 44 hours per week.
**Duration**
6 month contract

As **Warehouse Associate** you will be responsible for assisting in the distribution area with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving with a safety mindset.
**What you will do**
· Help with warehouse functions such as receiving/ put away, order picking, packing, and shipping.
· Pick via RF scanners with orders from rack pick slots
· Other duties include assistance with inventory counting and general housekeeping within the warehouse
· Pack orders on conveyor belts
· Use wrap machine and labeling of packed/wrapped orders
· Required participation in EHS activities including JHSC and worker representation
· Use powered equipment for various job duties
**What you will need**
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
· License to operate Raymond reach trucks narrow aisle, pallet jacks and powered walkies required.
· We would require a class 2 license (order picker)
· Fall arrest certification.
· Previous picking or packing experience in a warehouse/distribution environment with RF scanners
· PC literate with AS400 and hand-held scanner experience
· Ability to lift 50lbs by hand and mandatory to operate manual equipment
· Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, twist and crouch for long periods of time
· Ability to work weekends and have shift flexibility to meet the demands of the business.
· Assist in other areas as needed.
