Experience & Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and piping
• A background in plumbing would be ideal - Pipefitters or Millwrights will also be considered
• Experience with treatment processes, planning, maintenance, SCADA systems, lift station operation, process control, and control panels
• Maintenance and troubleshooting
• Planning, scheduling, and supervision experience
• Self-directed - able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing and able to work out of town overnight, on a limited basis (99% of the time you will be home each night)
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Respond to calls and texts from customers, including troubleshooting issues over the phone
• Coordinate maintenance and schedule sub-trades required to execute the work
• Commissioning, regular cleaning, inspections, and maintenance of lift stations
• Treatment plant maintenance and on-site repairs
• Measure piping and determine layout for new headers, drop pipes, and valve locations
• Perform safety audits and monitor safety equipment and supplies

**Job Description**
Our Canadian business is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Process Manager - Water Management to drive delivery of water treatment and water management projects in the Mining and Industrial sectors. You will lead multidiscipline engineering teams for concept, prefeasibility, feasibility studies, detailed engineering design and construction phases. You will work in a hybrid team environment to deliver projects to our clients here in Canada and occasionally for international projects.
The Senior Process Manager - Water Management responsibility will encompass leadership and delivery of water treatment and water management (surface and underground) projects across Canada, and occasionally for international projects.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
* Responsible for the management of multi-disciplined project teams, including a hybrid blend of in-person and remote team members, to deliver a variety of projects from small to complex; from concept studies to execution phase.
* Supervise the production of technical documentation, drawings, reports, and other deliverables.
* Proactively manage scope and change management according to company standards and project requirements.
* Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual project delivery, technical and client challenges, determining technical objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects.
* Ensure project work is undertaken is accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems.
* Qualified to provide the Lead Verifier review function for water treatment process deliverables
* Manage and monitor contractual obligations for engineering projects.
* Work within a project team environment and possess good presentation and client interface skills.
* Supervise discipline lead resources and/or assist in the preparation of deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
* Write comprehensive study and engineering reports using sound engineering logic and with written expression in English that is cohesive, clear, and concise on subject matters varying from simple to very complex.
* Stays abreast of industry standards and approaches and implements best practices.
* Mentor junior staff and maintain a collaborative, learning environment within the project team or discipline.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements :
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 10 years' experience (ideally with an engineering firm) in studies and engineering design of water treatment plants for mining and industrial infrastructure.
* 10 years experience in Project Manager or Process Lead roles (within an engineering design team) for multi-disciplined engineering studies and detailed designs
Preferred Qualifications :
* Project Manager responsibility on at least three (3+) studies or projects with capital value +$50M
* Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in at least one Canadian province, or eligible to register within 6-12 months
* Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States an asset

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $55,000.00 - 260,000.00.

• Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions, methodologies, attendances and change orders.

Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of related engineering experience, and a broad general engineering background is required
+ Degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
+ Professional Engineer registration or eligibility to register with PEO is required.
+ Strong understanding of the Ontario engineering consulting market.
+ Established contacts and knowledge of the regulatory environment and approvals process would be a notable asset.
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with ability to build rapport.
+ In-depth understanding of contract administration services and requirements
+ A thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software (PC-SWMM, HEC-RAS, SWMHYMO, Visual OTTHYMO, InfoWorks ICM, Civil3D/Open Roads Designer) for use in completing engineering assignments.

**Job Description:**

Parsons is now hiring a Lead Senior Drainage and SWM Engineer for our rapidly expanding portfolio of projects. In this role you can expect to work on large design build transit and transportation projects across Canada and Us as part of infrastructure team.
Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your advanced project and engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity to lead teams. We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and leadership skills. In this role you will integrate the various engineering, scheduling, procurement, construction, and startup aspects of a small project. May manage a subtask of a larger project or study in accordance with contractual obligations. Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance.
Responsibilities:
+ Independently leads the drainage component of the projects. This includes but not limited to all phases of design and tendering process for drainage/SWM features of the projects.
+ Develops the scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements, and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements.
+ Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process. Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers. Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.
+ Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
