**Position Overview**
Autodesk's AEC Construction division is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead our Access Control team. This team is responsible for the critical tasks of permission management and authorization within Autodesk Construction Cloud, our suite of construction software products. **Minimum Qualifications**
+ **Educational Background:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
+ **Technical Experience:** At least 7-10 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend development
+ Strong proficiency in Node.js and PostgreSQL
+ **Leadership Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of engineering management experience, leading teams of similar size and complexity
+ **Domain Knowledge:** Understanding of permission management and authorization systems, especially within the context of large-scale applications
+ **Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
+ **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
**Preferred Qualifications**

**Salary transparency**
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $136,000 and $187,000. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
