Software Developer (.Net/React), Web Applications Brampton - Hybrid   Survalent is seeking innovative and enthusiastic Full Stack Web Developer to join our Web Application Development team. This team is responsible for building secure, high-performance, and scalable web applications that help electric utilities monitor, control, and manage power flow ensuring safe and efficient delivery of electricity. You’ll be part of a growing development team and responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to design to deployment.  We’re looking for someone who’s confident working across both front-end and back-end technologies, familiar with modern frameworks, and passionate about creating intuitive, data-driven web solutions. If you are passionate about building real-time web applications to process huge amounts of data, and eager to learn within a team of accomplished industry developers, this is a great opportunity for you!                                                                                                  What will you be doing? * Work with development teams, customers, and other subject matter experts to ideate software solutions, and improve software functionality. * Design client-side and server-side architecture. * Ensure front-end code is mobile-friendly (i.e. responsive) and intuitive for users. * Develop and manage well-functioning databases. * Write effective RESTful APIs. * Test software to ensure responsiveness, scalability, and efficiency. * Create security and data protection settings. * Write technical documentation where necessary. * Other duties as required   What are we looking for? * Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or a related field. * 5 years of experience in computer programming. * Experience in Frontend Development: Skilled with React, including both user interface design and business logic implementation. * Experience in Backend Development: Proficient with ASP.NET Core Web API, incorporating real-time communication using SignalR/WebSockets and secure authentication through Identity. * Experience in Database Development: Competent with SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL for robust data storage and querying. * Experience in Data Processing: Capable of building complex, high-performance data processing plugins to support backend server operations. * Strong knowledge of object-oriented design concepts. * Strong knowledge of design patterns. * Working knowledge of Git. * Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing. * Excellent analytical and problem resolution methods. * Knowledge on back-end development, including RESTful interfaces and microservices. * Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence, or similar infrastructure tools. * Proficiency or working knowledge of Ractive.js and legacy .NET frameworks is a strong asset. * Experience with containerized application development, particularly using Docker, is a strong asset.    This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Team Lead of Web Applications.
