Responsabilités et attentes:
Sous l'autorité du gestionnaire de projet, le fileur est responsable de réaliser les tâches de câblage, d'assembler les composants, d'assister à l'approvisionnement des pièces et de préparer les articles pour le transport, en veillant à ce que tout le travail soit conforme aux spécifications et aux normes de qualité.
- Réaliser le câblage des panneaux électriques et de contrôle
- Assembler les armoires de commande
- Participer à l’approvisionnement des pièces
- Emballer et préparer les armoires pour le transport
Qualifications et compétences :
- Minimum de 6 mois d’expérience dans le domaine manufacturier;
- Expérience dans l'utilisation d'outils;
- Connaissance du système de mesure impérial;
- Connaissance en électricité (un atout).

Responsibilities & Expectations:
Under the authority of the Project Manager, the wiring clerk is responsible for performing wiring tasks, assembling components, assisting with parts procurement, and preparing items for transport, ensuring all work meets specifications and quality standards.
- Perform the wiring of electrical and control panels
- Assemble the control cabinets
- Assist with the procurement of parts
- Pack and prepare the cabinets for transport
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in the manufacturing field;
- Experience with tools ;
- Knowledge of the imperial measurement system;
- Knowledge of electricity (an asset).

POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Technician is responsible for performing testing of various electrical components related to the bus manufacturing process. This role is also responsible for reviewing and interpreting schematics, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems, and operating under strict safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

- Provide training and support on electrical systems, including safe work practices, diagram/schematic interpretation, and programming fundamentals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Minimum of one year of experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including high-voltage control and energy storage systems.
- Strong focus on safety, with thorough knowledge of and strict adherence to high-voltage safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing both AC and DC electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, engineering documents, and design-specific instructions.
- Understanding of PLC programming and ladder logic.
- Experience with CAN networks and J1939 communication protocols, including troubleshooting and diagnostics (strong asset).
- Proficient in using digital electrical measuring tools.
- Experience with vendor-specific and vehicle systems such as Parker/Vansco, Cummins, Allison, and Wabco (considered an asset).
- Successful candidates will be required to complete the New Flyer Electrical Technician Training Program, which includes classroom training, testing, and on-the-job training (OJT).

Role:
We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Technician in our Edmonton branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, the Technician will service and install door and gate motor operators & controls focusing on quality, safety and superior customer service. This role is a permanent, full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Provides electrical install (operator hook-up, controls, sensors etc.) to a variety of overhead door & driveway gate systems
- Tests, troubleshoots, diagnoses problems, provide solutions and carries out required work
- Provides basic mechanical repairs and service to overhead doors & driveway gate systems.
- Regularly coordinates with the service scheduler on problem solving and communicating the required parts
- Interacts with internal and external customers including construction project managers, other trades and safety personnel
- Assist other technicians with install and service as required
- Other duties, as assigned

- Soldering experience with good dexterity and the ability to solder IPC-A_610 and IPC Class 3 Standards.
- Experience with equipment for underwater use or PCB assembly and test considered an asset.
- Experience reading engineering documentation, wiring schematics and BoMs.
- Detail-oriented and well organized.
