Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising, marketing, or a related client-facing role.

Primary Objective for This Position
The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between the agency and assigned clients. Youll ensure expectations are clearly defined and consistently exceeded through proactive communication, sound strategy, and effective execution.
You will work closely with the Creative and Technology teams to align client goals with agency capabilities guiding day-to-day project delivery while identifying opportunities for growth and ongoing collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
The day-to-day will evolve, but core duties include:

As an Inside Account Manager, you will be responsible for interacting with customers primarily over the phone and by email. - Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels

Position Details:
- This position is based in Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas.
- This position typically works on site Monday to Friday. Flexibility to be available to provide emergency customer support during off hours and weekends as needed.
- Occasional overnight travel for training/meetings will be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma
- 10 years technical sales or field sales support experience, or related industry experience
- Ability to travel within the geographic territory up to 30%
- Ability to travel overnight for business as needed
- Able to travel to the US for training/meetings
- Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems)
- No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
Physical Demands:
- Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc.)
- Prior experience within Overhead Corrosion, Demulsification, Refinery process chemicals or Fuel additives
- Previous Refinery/Petrochemical experience preferred
- History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
- Prior experience that required excellent communication and organization skills
- Account Management experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goals
- Prior experience that demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to multitask
- Water treatment experience is considered an asset

Where is the work:
Due to the nature of this role, this position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
What you will do:
After successfully completing the Trane Technologies Graduate Training Program (GTP) , you will assume the responsibilities of an Associate Account Manager, specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls, in a predetermined office location .
As a n A ssociate A ccount M anager , you will:
- Sell the world's most complete line of efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to our commercial, industrial, and institutional customers .
- Work with engineers, architects, contractors and owners/developers in the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for our customer’s buildings.
Compensation Information:
Base Pay : $75,600 (CAD)
Lodging, a daily stipend, and relocation are provided during the 5-month training.
Compensation expectations after program completion are partially commission based and industry leading. This creates an uncapped compensation opportunity for our Associate Account Managers. We are happy to discuss what this could look like!

Travel/Location of GTP
Relocation for 5 Months of training in La Crosse, WI and less than 15% in a defined geographic location after La Crosse, WI training.
What you will bring :
- Possess bachelor’s degree in engineering (Open to all engineering areas of emphasis)
- Be a Canadian citizen or have the legal right to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

- Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, ability to provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
