Job Overview
- We are seeking a hands-on Salesforce Solution Architect to design and implement scalable, patient-focused solutions leveraging Salesforce Health Cloud and related technologies. As part of the Patient Services Solution Architecture team, you will lead architecture design, integrate partner services, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. You will collaborate with enterprise architects, cross-functional teams, and vendors to deliver best-in-class patient experience and operational efficiency. Expertise in OmniStudio, data integrations, and healthcare data security is essential.
- Lead architecture design and implementation of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions
- Define large-scale Patient Support Program architecture, including patient journey mapping and engagement
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture strategy and governance
- Integrate partner services (e.g., Benefits Verification, Co-Pay, Dispense) into patient programs
- Provide technical direction and oversight for SF Health Cloud integrations with Snowflake, Informatica, AWS S3, Python, and APIs
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate feasibility and present outcomes to stakeholders
- Streamline and optimize patient solution architecture for performance and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with enterprise and domain architects to ensure end-to-end solution alignment
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Maintain architecture documentation, roadmaps, and C4 Model diagrams
- Ensure HIPAA, GxP, and GDPR compliance in all solutions
- Stay current with emerging Salesforce and healthcare IT trends
- Salesforce certified Application and System Architect (preferred)
- Expertise in Salesforce OmniStudio, Integration Procedures, OmniScripts, and Data Raptors
- Strong background in Salesforce Health Cloud architecture and FHIR data integrations
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, GxP, GDPR) and data security practices
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical design
- Experience integrating with Snowflake, Informatica, AWS S3, and API strategies
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of life sciences/pharma data architecture requirements
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Veeva Meeting/Events, Service Cloud Voice, and Advanced Therapy Management
- Cloud platform experience with AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerBI/Tableau for data visualization
- Experience with AI/ML capabilities in Salesforce solutions
- DevOps tools familiarity (AutoRabbit, GitHub, Terraform)

Shared Services Canada (SSC) is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Architect to support a critical infrastructure modernization initiative. This role requires deep expertise in CEPH storage and OpenStack, and a proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions in government environments.
The selected resource must have an active Secret clearance and be available to start by October 1st, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and implementation of secure, enterprise-grade OpenStack cloud environments.
- Architect and manage CEPH storage clusters to support high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Align cloud solutions with SSC’s security and compliance standards, including ITSG-33.
- Collaborate with SSC teams to implement cloud automation, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Produce technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration standards, and deployment plans.

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Cloud Architect, with significant experience in OpenStack and CEPH.
- Hands-on experience with OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Glance, Cinder, Keystone, etc.).
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining CEPH storage solutions in production.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and secure infrastructure design.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Secret clearance (active) is mandatory for submission.
- Ability to start no later than October 1st, 2025.
- Knowledge of container platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Prior work with Shared Services Canada or other Government of Canada departments.

Responsibilities
This is a customer facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Applications Development Platform. You will own the Cloud Infrastructure and Azure Applications Development technical customer engagements including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots. The ideal candidate will have experience leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management and Developers.

- Observes colleagues and learns how to gather customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs) and align with solutions.

- Supports customer/partner projects as needed for specified architecture solutions by investigating a solution area and assisting in research and testing out concepts developed by more senior architects.
- Identifies technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) for selected products to accelerate architecture implementations and routes non-technical issues for removal by the appropriate party.
- Applies methodology and governance, as directed, to minimize business and technical risks and adhere to quality assurance while contributing to design and/or delivery of solutions (e.g. Well-Architected Framework, Enterprise Scale Landing Zone, Cloud Adoption Framework). Demonstrates an understanding of customer/partner conditions of success.

- Supports research projects and contributes to scoping surveys for customers/partners to assess potential intellectual property (IP) needs or process changes.
Trusted Advisor
- Works with internal teams and begins building relationships with customer/partner/MCS technical specialists under the guidance and supervision of others.
- Respectfully challenges customers/partners when going in the wrong direction and escalates appropriately.

- Participates in discussions around architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase customer business value. Ensures that the customer's environment and applications are well-architected.
