About Evertain

Who We Are:

Evertrain is Ottawa's leading personalized fitness-coaching company that helps people over 50 get out of pain and lose weight.

Unlike other fitness centres that focus on younger audiences and trainers who may not fully comprehend the needs of older adults, Evertrain offers a welcoming community for like-minded people over 50, paired with coaches who fully understand their unique needs.

At Evertrain, we empathize with the struggles that can come with injuries and inconsistency in maintaining a fitness routine. Our team has experienced similar challenges personally, and has witnessed close family members who have gone through similar challenges. We know that the over 50 population has experienced a lot of discouragement, disappointment and often enough, theyve given up hope for their ideal version of themselves. Were here to bring back that hope and show them the path to success. Since 2015, we have helped hundreds of individuals over 50 across North America improve their health and regain control over their lives.

This is How We Do It

  • Not everyone is a fit for the Evertrain family. The work we do is best done when we work together.
  • Although every Success Coach is assigned a roster of clients to oversee, most members end up working with everyone on the team at some point.
  • We lean on each other whenever we need it and are always brainstorming new ways to make everyone better.
  • We take time to make sure new team players are not only highly skilled and ready to perform in their roles, but align with our values and culture so we can all enjoy coming to work together every day and have fun at the same time.

Our Core Values and Purpose

1. Honesty, Integrity and Trust

  • What it is: transparency, doing what you say you'll do, being there for clients, going the extra mile
  • What it isn't: dishonesty, hiding, obscuring/lying by omission. Not keeping promises. Not being there for clients when they need us.

2. Continual Path of Improvement

  • What it is: Stay focused on the long-term. Putting in the work in an efficient and timely manner. Prioritizing continuing education. Never stop. Creating new habits, reinforcing old habits (that we want).
  • What it isn't: Not focusing on big picture. Taking shorts cuts. Thinking we already know everything we need to know. Obsessing over details without creating new habits.

3. The Evertrain Experience

  • What it is: Being well prepared for the session. Showing your client's how well you know them and how much thought you put into their time with you. Providing the full coaching experience. Doing the unexpected. Connecting/introducing clients to staff and other members. Smiling and being friendly with everyone. Willingness to help when needed.
  • What it isn't: Not being prepared/winging it. Only working during the in-person session. Not doing the extra work outside of sessions. Doing the bare minimum. Never making them feel a part of the community. Being in a bad mood and letting it show. Only helping people if you receive a direct benefit.

Our Purpose

  • To empower people over 50 to achieve their goals and have the best possible quality of life well into their later years.
