Providing the highest quality of service with our operations to clients, with an emphasis on QHSE, technical solutions and client support.

Requires hands-on expertise in MPD operations, real-time data processing, and
automation of drilling workflows using Python.

The role requires a deep understanding of MPD methodologies, downhole dynamics, and the ability to develop analytical tools to optimize drilling
performance.


QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION


Minimum of bachelors degree in petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Recently Graduated with +1 year MPD experience.
Has E.I.T. certification or ability to obtain E.I.T certification.
Shift work will be required, hybrid work from home and Opla's ROC office.
Willing to travel as required. Occasional travel to remote locations or outside of the country may be required.
Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
Experience working with real-time drilling data, machine learning algorithms, and IoT applications.
Familiarity with drilling hydraulics, pressure control, and wellbore stability.
Hands-on experience with MPD software, surface control systems, and well control methodologies.
Good communication, interpersonal & leadership skills.
Willingness to learn and ability to work well within a collaborative team.
Must be able to work unsupervised in a fast-paced and highly energetic environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly motivated with the ability to prioritize workloads.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, however, other duties may apply)
Manage all aspects of project preparation, proposals, and programs for MPD wells.
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of technical presentations and reports on complex MPD topics and
projects.
Active role in assisting R&D team with development of proprietary software.
Active role in assisting sales groups with client meetings, presentations, and technical support.
Providing remote and on-site support to Opla personnel and clients.
Must understand and comply with all the safety rules and company policies of Opla.
Provide 24/7 engineering support for all ongoing operations.
Design, implement, and optimize MPD strategies for various drilling operations.

Develop and deploy Python-based data analysis tools for real-time drilling data monitoring and decision-making.
Analyze surface and downhole data to provide insights into wellbore pressure, flow rates, and drilling
performance.
Collaborate with drilling teams to improve MPD workflows, automation processes, and predictive modeling.
Ensure compliance with HSE and regulatory standards in all MPD operations.
Support remote operations and assist in troubleshooting MPD systems.

A little about the role


As a Marketing Data Specialist at Konstruct, youll be working alongside our accounts and service teams to implement and manage data tracking across our client base.


Auditing, configuring and optimizing analytics systems across multiple platforms will be core responsibilities, along with creating custom reports and dashboards, troubleshooting data issues and tracking discrepancies, and working with tag management systems and data layers to set up tags, triggers and variables to maximize data collection and ensure accurate data.


Implementing and managing consent management platforms, understanding and articulating their impact on data collection and providing support for internal and external stakeholders will be key responsibilities of the role.


Additional responsibilities include understanding server-side tracking and having experience with implementing and maintaining server-side data collection, CRM data integrations, CRM reporting and ensuring data accuracy within various CRM platforms, providing data storage support and using SQL expertise to provide requested access to stored data.

Your Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a marketing data specialist (despite your family having no idea what this is when you tell them what you do).

The selected candidate will be working with our project execution teams to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of in-line inspection results, with a focus on our custom-tailored reporting solutions to satisfy our customers’ needs. This includes the review of customer requirement specifications, processing of in-line inspection data, the analysis and identification of pipeline features and anomalies within processed data sets, application of industry accepted anomaly assessment criteria, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final results, and compiling the results of our inspection activities in a concise, comprehensive custom tailored report for our customers.

  • Prior certification as ILI PQ LIII Data Analyst in one or more of the following in-line inspection technologies: UTWM, UTCD, EMAT; or the ability to become certified
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the analysis of in-line inspection data
  • Ability to learn proprietary software platforms; proficiency in Microsoft based applications is a must
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • A professional, detail-oriented focus and attention to detail and high quality
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all organizational levels, prepare and make presentations to management and customers on all levels
