Your Role
- Voyago's Transit Drivers are responsible for delivering exceptional door-to-door customer service while working closely with individuals who have special needs
- You are required to provide proactive assistance to passengers in boarding vehicles, maneuvering wheelchairs, securement belts, lifting portable assistive devices, and offering necessary aid throughout the journey.
- You are a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers by properly securing passengers, devices, and mobility aids.
- Additionally, providing WOW! Customer service to all passengers and assisting with information on fares, schedules, and stops is a crucial aspect of this role
Key Responsibilities
- You are offering door-to-door customer service.
- You will assist passengers in boarding vehicles and maneuvering wheelchairs.
- You are attaching securement belts and lift portable assistive devices as needed.
- You will ensure the proper restraint and security of passengers, devices, and mobility aids.

Requirements
Your Profile
- You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
- You can obtain a clean criminal record search and/or vulnerable sector screening
- You are a professional driver with a class license of G
- You are able to work with individuals who have special needs in a compassionate and patient manner
- You are physically capable to lift and maneuver assistive devices
- You have excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Your prior experience in a similar role would be preferred
- You are comfortable working around any type of service animal

Your Role
Operational Oversight
- Manage the daily operations of transportation services, ensuring compliance with contractual standards and company policies.
- Oversee staff scheduling to ensure full coverage during regular operations, vacations, and sick leaves.
- Cover driving runs as required to maintain service continuity.
Team Leadership & Performance
- Direct and support drivers and staff, monitoring performance through site visits, incident/collision reports, and follow-ups.

- Assist in onboarding, orientation, and training of new hires.
- Track and support employees through license upgrades, from initiation to completion.
Collaboration & Support

- Maintain strong communication channels to support team success and ensure compliance.
Fleet & Facility Management
- Support fueling and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.

Reporting & Administration
- Monitor and report on KPIs as directed, providing regular updates to the Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
Business Partner
- Partner with the business to assess short and long-term business needs of the business units and provide strategic HR direction to meet their operational business requirements.
- Support leaders with their management of front-line drivers and other employee groups
- Consult with business stakeholders on an ongoing basis to determine evolving human resource requirements and assist with the development and implementation of responsive, effective and value-added human resource strategies.

- Proven experience working in a unionized environment with strong knowledge of labour relations practices, collective agreements, and grievance handling.
- Explore and determine innovative and creative approaches to resolving employee issues.
- Provides positive reinforcement and administers corrective action for the professional development of poor performers by closely monitoring employee performance.
- Facilitates communication and conflict resolution including conducting internal employee investigations.
Compliance:

**Job Description:**

**In this role, you will:**
+ Process financial transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments as per standardized operating procedures, industry regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics
+ Understand and determine customer needs to recommend solutions specific to those needs while exercising discretion in confidential matters
+ Respond and resolve customers' concerns using standard procedures and escalating non-standard activities, as necessary
+ Achieve assigned goals and business objectives by promoting banking solutions and completing business processes in a timely and accurate manner
+ Connect personally with customers to advise them appropriately and clearly on banking solutions and processes
+ Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness as well as participating in personal performance development
+ Assist the team by respecting coworkers, staying dedicated, and keeping everyone up-to-date on the status of routine activities

**Job Requirements:**
+ High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience
+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent is an asset.
+ Strong administration, organizational, planning and time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Hands on knowledge of using MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and internet.
+ A go-getter who can exercise initiative and be accurate and detail oriented to handle several tasks and changing priorities.
+ A dynamic communicator with established customer experience skills who can connect, both verbally and in writing, with different people in a calm, courteous, and effective manner
