**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on electronic equipment and systems.
+ Support the Equipment Repairs & Maintenance Team with work orders, projects, and preventative maintenance activities.

+ Use and maintain a variety of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning tools and equipment safely and properly.

**Qualifications & Experience:**
+ Post-secondary diploma or degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited Ontario institution.
+ Experience with PLC and motor control systems is an asset.
+ Strong knowledge of electric and electronic controls.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
+ Basic understanding of electronics at the circuit board level.
+ Familiarity with distribution equipment, electrical systems and protective devices is an asset.
+ Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

Position Overview
As a member of the Strategic Partnerships team, you will develop partnerships and maintain relationships with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) recyclers, IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) companies and medium to large sized Tech companies, to source rare-earth bearing electronic scrap to be recycled. Your duties will encompass all things related to the purchase of our feedstock, including business development, negotiation of pricing, and volumes. You will be based in our corporate office in Downtown Toronto and may travel throughout North America periodically to meet with sellers and attend conferences. Occasional visits to the company's engineering facilities in both downtown Kingston, Ontario and Phoenix Arizona are possible. You will report to the Manager of Strategic Partnerships. When not traveling, this team works 4 days-per-week in-person in the Toronto office.
Responsibilities
- Develop new relationships with sellers of feedstock, ITAD facilities, electronics recyclers, and product manufacturers.
- Assist in the negotiation of long-term supply contracts, gathering and analyzing historical pricing information.
- Stay abreast of current market trends and competitive situations/practices to meet the needs of the operations supplied.
- Coordinate the supply requirements and timing with operations department.
- Assist in the development of external presentations, grant applications, certifications, and other documentation.
- Support internal and external audits as they relate to the responsible handling and management of electronic scrap.
- Represent the company in industry associations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in the electronic scrap industry, bonus for direct experience in the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) industry
- Experience developing and managing relationships from lead generation through to contracting and operationalization
- Understanding of the dynamics of pricing, shipping, and availability of feedstock
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results with a respectful and inclusive style
- Ability to operate in a dynamic Startup environment, contributing outside of specific responsibilities
- Ability to develop repeatable processes and procedures to support company growth
- Familiarity with Responsible Recycling (R2), ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001 standards or adjacent compliance an asset

**Position Summary:**
As **Global Sourcing Manager, Electronics & OTS Distribution** you will engage business budget owners to drive short-term and long-term sourcing activities, including strategic sourcing projects, contract management, supplier negotiations, and relationship building. This position offers opportunities to influence global supply chain strategies and drive organizational transformation through innovative sourcing initiatives. Your efforts will drive cost savings, enhance supplier and budget performance, and ensure seamless procurement operations globally. The scope of this role includes Trojan Technologies distributed off-the-shelf components category including, electronic components, PLCs, hydraulics, fasteners, packaging and MRO.
This position is part of the Global Sourcing team and is located in **London, Ontario, Canada** , or **Guelph, Ontario, Canada** . This role is **eligible for a hybrid work arrangement** .
**In this role, a typical day will look like:**
+ **Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:** Cultivate strategic supplier partnerships to drive continuous improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and service. Lead negotiations, manage contracts, and enforce performance standards aligned with organizational goals. Monitor and hold suppliers accountable for performance levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Develop and utilize tools and maintain infrastructure to track and optimize supplier spend effectively.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with Veralto and other Operating Companies to design and execute strategic initiatives. Foster internal partnerships across key functions, including Operations, HR, Marketing, Sales, R&D, Legal, and Corporate Procurement, to drive procurement excellence.
+ **Sustainable Supply Chain Leadership:** Champion Veralto's sustainable supply chain policy and code of conduct. Execute on sustainable supply chain roadmap, supporting cross functional improvement of our products and suppliers.
+ **Market Insights:** Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global market conditions impacting assigned categories. Use data-driven insights to defend and refine sourcing strategies.
+ **VES:** Leverage and maintain proficiency in Veralto Enterprise Systems tools, including SBM and CFSM, to drive continuous improvement and promote best practices across the organization.
**The essential requirements of the job include:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of procurement / category management experience, preference for previous experience with distributors and regional sourcing.
+ Key focus around "off-the-shelf" (OTS) component manufacturers (electrical components, PLCs, MRO, hydraulics, fasteners, ect.)
+ 5 years of experience in leading Global Value Sourcing projects - start to finish
+ 3 years of MRP / ERP materials planning system experience. Baan or LN experience is a plus
+ 3 years of experience with the usage of electronic sourcing tools for RFI, RFQ, Reverse Auction.
+ 3 years of experience working with R&D, New Product Development & Engineering teams in a
+ product/project environment.
+ 3 years of experience procuring custom engineered equipment (water treatment industry preferred).
