PTI Amusements / Party Time Inflatables Inc . is seeking a dependable, reliable & professional Logistics Driver/Technician (LDT ) to support our organizations field operational needs. The LDT In this role will be responsible for the safe transport & set-up of event amusement structures, associated equipment, and occasionally staff to and from customer event sites.
We are looking for individuals who are not only well-suited for the position but who can also represent the company’s values when dealing with clients, business partners, and staff. Applicants must have a strong sense of accountability, proven driving experience, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Employment will be contingent they are able to successfully complete their ADMI certification once empllyed.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery
- Safely transport event structures, equipment, supplies, and staff using company fleet vehicles.
- Load and unload items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Deliver on time in alignment with the operations schedule.
- Return to event sites as needed to collect equipment.
- Complete proper unloading and inventory check-in at the warehouse.
Compliance & Reporting
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any mechanical or safety issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and trip records.
- Follow all company safety protocols, TSSA regulations, and traffic laws.
- Complete ADMI training.
Driver Requirements
- Valid G-Class Ontario driver’s license with no restrictions.
- Must be physically capable of performing heavy lifting (75 lbs+).
- Available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call as required.
Conduct & Presentation
- Represent the company in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- Wear and maintain a clean company uniform at all work sites.
Job Requirements (Mandatory)
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC ) to work with the vulnerable sector.
- D Class or higher equivalent licence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery, transportation, moving, & logistics operations. Specifically trailers & commercial vehicles
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and resolve issues on-site.
- Strong work ethic with a high standard of professionalism and punctuality.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required for this position. Candidates may be asked to provide evidence of English proficiency (e.g., prior education, work experience, or recognized language assessment).
