Manufacturing Technician:



The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for contributing to the achievement of company objectives which include Cost Variance, Production Volume, Production to Schedule, Lead Time and Quality Objectives. Performs duties in Manufacturing in accordance with good manufacturing practices and established standard operating procedures.


Essential Functions:



  • Prepare solutions and operate the Branson cleaning machine to perform ultrasonic cleaning of final device components. Perform manual cleaning of components as required.
  • Perform cleaning and verification of nitinol stents.
  • Perform cutting, inspection, and cleaning of serial tags.
  • Perform teardown of the tissue component of a Perceval valve, and the recovery and rinsing of the nitinol stent to facilitate stent re-use.
  • Perform valve load-in, load-out from Leaflet Formation (LF) machine.
  • Perform bio-burden reduction process on Perceval valves.
  • Perform valve sharping steps on Lancelot valves.
  • Clean and sanitize LF machine as scheduled.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of machine accessories and other production tools (ex. mandrels, discs, shaping tools, sewing templates)
  • Prepare DI water and Minncare solutions as required.
  • Perform Final Packaging tasks and re-packaging of all models of valves with the correct configuration.
  • Operate and clean glutaraldehyde distillation equipment to meet production demand.
  • Document work accurately and completely in MES, Business System, forms or logbooks/daily production logs as applicable to the task.
  • Assure labour tracking time systems are accurately maintained.
  • Perform process verification at various stages.
  • Maintain traceability and proper documentation on all materials and components processed through the area.
  • Verify and document that all materials are acceptable prior to use.
  • Assures equipment has been calibrated prior to use and is properly secured upon completion.
  • Perform daily monitoring of equipment and environment as required.
  • Handle chemicals as required after proper training, wearing appropriate PPE and adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Follows 6S initiatives by maintaining inventory of materials in their respective area.
  • Organizes storage of components and supplies.
  • Performs cleaning of critical controlled areas, gowning rooms and uncontrolled areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Reports problems and potential problems to lead or area supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Able to do repetitive detailed work within guidelines and maintaining precise records.
  • Be able to lift and transfer 8 to 10 L carboy/s to the working area
  • Good time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Has basic mechanical aptitude. Able to to operate theBranson cleaning machine Leaflet Formation, Meile parts washer and use all the applicable tooling in the production area.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform tasks with extreme detail, accuracy and speed.
  • Good time-management skills and ability to multi-task. Demonstrates an appropriate sense of urgency, complies with scheduling requirements and ensures prompt product movement.
  • Able to read and understand instructions, policies and procedures written in English.

Education & Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Work experience in a regulated manufacturing industry is preferred.

What will you do as an Manufacturing Technologist?

Working under the guidance of the Production Lead, the Assembler/Manufacturing Technologist diligently performs product assembly, tests, alignment, calibration, and verification as well as repair activities ensuring conformity of products to define requirements. Scope of work includes all processes from initial inventory handling through to finalization and packaging.

This position is specifically for the afternoon shift. 

Typical duties, responsibilities and activities include:

  • Prepares components, assembles, aligns, calibrates, verifies and tests product in accordance with the manufacturing documentation to ensure product is manufactured to quality requirements.
  • Strictly adheres to detailed instructions, drawings, specifications, and bills of material to accurately process components into finished products.
  • Performing work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Adheres to ESD policy and ensures proper handling of product and its components.
  • Participates in continual training and development.
  • Manages time to ensure product is built and repaired to satisfy standard times.
  • Accurately documents status, labour and parts on the electronic traveller.
  • Posts assembly and material transactions in NetSuite database.
  • Promptly segregates and reports non-conforming parts and products.
  • Escalates all issues or concerns immediately to the Production Leads and/or Production Manager.  Clearly communicates and clarifies details about assembly issues.
  • Maintains a clean and tidy work area.
  • Adheres to LMI Employee Policy Manual. 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
What do you need to be successful?
  • High School Diploma.  
  • Experience working in an electro-mechanical assembly/test is highly preferred.
  • Proficient with computers.
  • Soldering experience to IPC 610 class 2 standards is an asset.
  • Cleanroom experience is an asset.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of quality and performance.

Salary Range: $37,900 - $50,869

About the Role


The Manufacturing Technologist will be responsible for assembling OFG’s sensor products. The successful candidate will ensure that our subsea sensors continue to be built to the highest level of quality. A commitment that our clients expect from OFG. **What you'll do:**
The Regional Administrator is responsible for supporting multiple Satellite plants by performing a variety of administrative and key support-related duties. Schedule:Primarily early mornings; some afternoon shifts as required
Reports To:Production Manager & Plant Manager Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and motivatedProduction Leadto join our chocolate manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment. The Production Lead will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, assisting with chocolate melting and tempering, and ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor chocolate production equipment, including melting and tempering systems.
  • Assist with cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of production machinery.
  • Follow recipes and production instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to food safety and quality programs (HACCP, GMPs, etc.).
  • Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as part of daily production.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Take on different roles within the production line as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Complete production records and basic reports using computer software (Word, Excel).
  • Support training of new team members when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with equipment maintenance.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner with eagerness to contribute to team success.
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
  • Comfortable with early morning shifts and occasional afternoon shifts.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the facility.
  • Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Forklift certification/experience an asset.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
