CVOS Oral Surgery is looking for experienced Patient Care Representatives/Dental Receptionists who are committed to providing the best experience to patients.


We offer a positive, co-operative environment where teamwork is key. Unlike other dental offices, we are not open evenings or weekends which allows for a more balanced work life.


This is a full time position that will be guaranteed 30 hours per week, but averages 40+ hours.You will be required to work in our clinics throughout Halton and Mississauga, so if you don't mind travelling and are looking for a new opportunity, we want to hear from you.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Provide strategic direction and clinical expertise to guide the implementation, communication, education and maintenance of clinical programs and formularies
+ Serve as clinical thought-leader on the Drug Plan Validation Committee, providing knowledge transfer to Express Scripts Canada customers (insurance carriers and third party administrators) on complex clinical topics
+ Provide leadership to the Prior Authorization program and review Prior Authorization requests, including gathering medical information, making coverage decisions, and communicating with patients, physicians or pharmacists as required
+ Interact with internal and external customers to provide insights on pharmacy practice, drug trends, medical advances and legislation
+ Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of patient status within the operations systems. Comply to ESC policies and procedures to safeguard personal information (PI) and personal health information (PHI).
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy; license to practice pharmacy in a province of Canada
+ Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in direct patient care, drug evaluation, and/or drug information activities
+ Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools, with database experience a plus
+ Knowledge of the private/public reimbursement or managed care experience would be considered an asset
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, courteously, and tactfully
+ Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities to optimize reimbursement and improve health outcomes
+ Effective facilitation and presentation skills
+ Knowledge and experience in areas of Neurology/Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, or Oncology.
+ Must be self-empowered and self-managed, but also must exhibit teamwork

**Qualification**

Express Scripts Pharmacy Ontario seeks to hire Pharmacists who will be responsible for dispensing and compounding medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines, and maintain daily production, quality and service levels.
The candidate will be required to vary work priorities and activities to accommodate business needs, provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians, interpret physicians' or prescribers' prescriptions, verify and confirm validity of controlled substances, verify prescription information entered in the Kroll Pharmacy software system by data entry or order entry, train and mentor other less-experienced or new pharmacists, and provide back up for other pharmacists, as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Verify prescriptions to be dispensed contain the correct medications and are correctly labeled, according to corporate and regulatory guidelines
+ Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians
+ Provide patient counseling on new prescriptions and handle patient clinical queries
+ Train and mentor other less experienced or new pharmacists and/or technicians

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Maintain a tidy workstation and assists in keeping the general office areas (kitchen and washroom) clean, stocked and organized
  • Obtain clinical photos for all patients
  • Obtain online reviews from all patients
  • Coordinate and schedule blood draws (PRP) and procedures with partner clinic IHM; escort patients to and fro
  • Complete daily close report & cashout
  • Pay invoices as instructed by bookkeeper
  • Conduct weekly inventory
  • Obtain consent for use of photos for office promotion
  • Ensure cash is counted correctly and placed for deposit
  • Ensure all office entrants are screened for COVID-19
  • Ensure COVID and PPE protocols are adhered to in the office, making sure hand sanitizer is placed in all areas and PPE is available
