What will you do at WSP
+ You participate in a team environment, work closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers
+ You prepare Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plans
+ You prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, compile data for, and write, reports including preparing conclusions and recommendations
+ You are responsible for project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements to the terms of reference under WSP's Master Services Agreements
+ You train junior staff in environmental practices and conduct site visits to ensure safety and technical requirements are meeting our high standards.
+ You interface with clients to ensure needs are met and projects/proposals are moving forward - Work with other members of the team to ensure provision of the support necessary for completion of projects
+ You work with and provide support to other members of the Remediation Program Management Group in sharing health and safety, project management, project completion and client service responsibilities
What you bring to WSP
+ University degree or college diploma in engineering or natural/earth sciences
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments and downstream experience is considered an asset
+ Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace/Possess a safety conscious attitude
+ Strong field experience is considered an asset
+ Understanding of the Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba Environmental regulations
+ Professional designation is preferred

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a Project Manager with a background in Hydraulic Modelling of Water and Wastewater Systems to join our growing Water Sector. As part of our team, you'll be involved in projects of varying complexity, with opportunities to hone your technical and leadership skills and share your knowledge with a bright and creative group of professionals.
**Responsibilities & Qualifications**
**Responsibilities**
+ Build and maintain key relationships with clients (municipal agencies as well as industrial clients, developers and landowners) and industry organizations.
+ Identify potential project prospects and lead or assist in the preparation of technical proposals to support marketing efforts.
+ Successfully manage engineering projects of varying scope and complexity, including monitoring of budgets and schedules, allocating resources and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
+ Manage or support Infrastructure Planning Studies including Master Plans, Secondary Plans and Class Environmental Assessments.
+ Manage or support Capacity Assessments of water and wastewater systems in support of private development applications and public infrastructure projects.
+ Collaborate with other discipline leads within and beyond the Water Sector for business development, project delivery, staff development and problem-solving.
+ Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff within the water and wastewater modelling team.
**Qualifications**
+ 10+ years of experience and expertise with modeling software. Software platforms include InfoWorks ICM, InfoSewer/InfoWater, SewerGEMS/ WaterGEMS, PCSWMM and other relevant platforms.
+ 5+ years of experience in Project Management activities and managing technical staff, with demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying scope and complexity.
+ Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
+ ESRI ArcGIS expertise.
+ Strong hydraulic and hydrologic analysis capabilities.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Municipal engineering design and construction experience a benefit.
+ Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together to achieve technical excellence.
+ Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
+ High level of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
**Additional Information**
