**Job Description**
**AECOM** Canada is a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of P3 projects in North America and is participating in every major P3 project in Canada, either as the Owner Engineer or as the Contractor's Engineer. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team and take on a central role in the delivery of a major transportation projects in Western Canada.
This position is based out of our Calgary office on a hybrid-work basis.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Supporting the Project Manager and other senior staff to deliver projects to budget, schedule and to AECOM's quality standards.
+ Independently manage the delivery of a subset of varied project activities.
+ Lead and coordinate project team activities and work effectively with Clients, Contractors, Engineers, Project Managers, and other consultants.
+ Provide clear guidance to designers and technical staff to meet client objectives.
+ Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing with project team and clients
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline.
+ 6+ years relevant work experience managing structural projects
+ Registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (P.Eng.) or PMP or MBA
**Preferred Requirements:**
+ Proven experience leading a multidisciplinary team thorough all phases of a project delivered under an alternative delivery model.
+ Technical knowledge related to delivery of transit projects.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
+ Ability to multi-task combined with strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.

**The Opportunity:**
**Senior Project Manager** for our Transportation department, located at our Calgary, Alberta office. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible to assist in the delivery and coordination of Transportation related projects within Alberta. + Provide direction, supervision and leadership support and oversee day to day activities in the respective WSP region;
+ Provide direct leadership support and supervision to Projects and Project Management teams in meeting specific performance, budgets, and timeline targets;

+ Provide Corporate support for WSP at Client preconstruction meetings;
+ Attend Client required "bi-weekly" meetings on-site during construction periods;
+ Coordinate and attend final inspections;
+ Coordinate completion of final details and timely delivery of Summary Report and Final Details package;
+ Coordinate timely and accurate paper flow to the Client including minutes of all meetings, weeklies, and monthly progress payments;
+ Create for review and approval all required project Engineering Change Requests; and
+ Prepare "draft" correspondence and documents as required for the Client for review.
**What you'll bring to WSP:**
+ Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology will be preferred;
+ Registered or eligible for registration with ASET as a C.E.T., or with APEGA as a P.Eng.;
+ Minimum 10 years of engineering & construction experience, either in the public or private sectors, with a minimum of 5 years in a construction management role, and direct field experience on Alberta Transportation (Provincial Government) and/or MD/County projects, including dealing with contractors;
+ A demonstrated ability to manage, direct, and motivate multi-disciplined teams to deliver fast paced medium to complex assignments;
+ Must be both a leader and a team player and be able to mentor and develop junior team members;
+ Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
+ Motivated and enthusiastic team player with a strong desire to succeed;
+ Project Management Professional certification would be an asset;

We are seeking an enthusiastic environmental professional that can provide technical excellence and leadership as a Project Manager within our growing Alberta Site Investigation and Remediation (SIR) team. The successful candidate will manage environmental site assessment, remediation, and risk assessment projects in our commercial and downstream oil and gas business sectors.
Your Key Responsibilities
