Our Sales Manager will do just that they'll oversee the people, processes, and sales operations of our Acheson dealership, ensuring we're crushing sales targets, and most importantly, exceeding our customers' expectations.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Sales Manager will be responsible for consistently achieving Sales volume and profitability targets through strong leadership of the sales team, as well as:
- Managing, developing, and sustaining a high level of employee performance and morale that results in a fulfilling and productive work environment
- Recruiting, hiring, and promoting the right people for the right positions
- Strengthening employee performance through timely training and development
- Coaching employees in pursuit of developing a high-producing sales team
- Taking ongoing action to sustain a positive customer experience
- Maintaining control of and creating efficiency in our RV inventory
- Conducting budgeting and strategic planning activities

Requirements:
- High school diploma. A University Degree is an asset
- Related service experience in the Recreational Vehicle industry is an asset

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Commercial Design Sales and Leadership Professional in Edmonton, who is passionate about lighting, with strong technical lighting knowledge and design savviness as our Client is known for representing the world’s most beautiful decorative lighting collections.
This candidate has approx. 10 years of lighting sales experience plus 5 years of leadership experience. This individual has experience working with interior designers, lighting designers, architects, landscape architects, engineers, and other design specifiers and can romanticize architectural lighting using technical language.
The ideal candidate can manage their own accounts plus managing and mentoring a sales team. This person has their own network of commercial and residential specifiers and client network and can identify and pursue new business opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive market expansion across Alberta North, while leading the Edmonton Sales Team through guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure both individual and team success. You will provide technical lighting expertise to support sales and operations staff, while cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, distributors, contractors, and industry stakeholders. WHAT YOU BRING
Ideally you have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or Engineering, with an MBA. You bring approximately 10 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role within the lighting industry or related sectors. You have strong Architecture and Design specifier relationships in the commercial design sector, a solid understanding of lighting products, technologies, and industry trends, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. You lead by example, demonstrating exceptional skills in relationship building, communication, negotiation, and presentation, along with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to consistently achieve targets. You use emotional intelligence, adaptability, effective delegation and your results-oriented, strategic mindset to analyze market data, and translating insights into actionable plans for your team and the region. May include;

- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales departments on specifications, cost, compatibility and availability of products as compared to needs for the RTU, Ductless and VRV Channels, as well as achieve growth especially in strategic product lines.
- Organize customer base training events, tradeshows and product launches, as it relates to the RTU and Ductless products.
- Develop business relationships with mechanical contractors and maintain a substantial installation network with-in the region / area.

- Understanding of the HVAC contracting business

The is a role with a salary and commission package, with first year OTE in the $120,000-$130,000 range.
Reports To: Vice President - Sales
Primary Role: To achieve budgeted sales and profitability by building a best-in-class industrial reseller network that will drive sales and share of all products in the company portfolio.
- Manage the territory for maximum coverage across select product lines

Experience and Qualifications
- Skilled in consultative selling techniques, needs analysis, and strategic planning
- Have a background working with technical products through distribution channels such as wholesale distributers, dealers, and manufacturers reps.
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Success selling to direct manufacturing, OEMs and National Accounts is a plus.
- Proven success in managing a large territory and growing an existing book of business.
- Self-motivated and drive to succeed. Will work out of home office and travel 40-50%
