We are looking for enthusiastic and professional Sales Representatives to join our team at the tradeshow. This is a great opportunity to represent a leading high-end kitchen appliance brand and gain hands-on tradeshow experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Fotile Canada at our booth and engage with visitors.
  • Learn and present our company story and product introductions (training provided).
  • Communicate product features confidently to potential customers, designers, and partners.
  • Support the booth team in maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outgoing, approachable, and confident speaking with people.
  • Ability to learn and remember product highlights quickly.
  • Must be available for all 4 days of the show.
  • Able to stand for approx. 6 hours per day during show hours.
  • Previous sales, tradeshow, or customer service experience is an asset

Schedule & Training

  • Show Duration: 4 days (~26–28 hours total booth time).
  • Training: 7 hours (before the show, paid).
  • Additional self-study materials provided.

Compensation

  • $25/hour
  • Great experience working with an international brand in a design & lifestyle environment.

Healstone Biotech was founded in 2016 by Canadian researchers in Vancouver, Canada. Healstone is the subsidiary company of Healgen Scientific LLC, which is located in the U.S. Since 2016, Healstone has been developing, manufacturing, and supplying immunological reagents and components for rapid test research and development applications in various countries such as the U.S., Canada, Europe, and China. In order to meet the new product development needs, Helastone is renovating a new biosafety lab in Toronto, which will be ready by the end of 2024. Meanwhile, the new facility will empower Healstone the capacity to distribute IVD in the Canadian market and to serve existing and new Canadian customers.


The Sales Representative is responsible for sales of within the global market. They are the principal point of contact between a business and its customers. Sales reps ensure current customers have the right products and services, identify new markets and customer leads, and pitch prospective customers.

  1. Duties and responsibilities

  • Implement product sales strategies to ensure sales goals and targets are achieved.
  • Work with supervisor to develop and execute sales plan.
  • Provide sales information to the supervisor to support the development of the proposed forecast.
  • Utilize selling skills to ensure customer needs are met and territory sales targets are achieved through regular customer contact.
  • Identify new business opportunities and gain new or expanded business within the territory while maintaining existing business.
  • Communicate market intelligence to the sales and marketing team.
  • Attend marketing activities, conferences, health talks, exhibitions, booths, and trade displays as required.
  • Conduct video showings/slide presentations/in-service/trials/market research and advocate speaker meetings with customer base, as required.
  • Develop and maintain territory and customer records.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings with the manager to build in continuous feedback.
  • Ensure all activities in the territory are executed with professionalism and comply with Healgen standards and the Code of Conduct.

  1. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a bio-science discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience. Experience gained in biotech laboratory will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated history of overachieving sales targets.
  • Responds quickly & being proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal

  1. Other requirements

  • This position will be based in Toronto
  • Flexible for hybrid work environment (Office + Home Office), and (limited) travelling
  • Flexible working time to communicate with global colleagues in different time zone
  • Communicate in Mandarin will be a bonus skill
  • Commission + KPI based salary rather than a time-based job

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team and drive the growth of our clients' products within the Gas and Convenience sector. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing product visibility, managing distribution, executing merchandising strategies, and supporting key sales initiatives. Working closely with the Regional Lead, you will focus on achieving sales targets while building and maintaining strong relationships with retail customers.

Location: Vancouver, Surrey, Chilliwack, Abbotsford
Hours of Work: 40hrs/week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Store Calls & Coverage : Organize and manage consistent coverage of assigned retail accounts (e.g., grocery, drug stores, mass merchandisers, convenience stores). Ensure all customers within the territory are visited per the established agreed upon frequency model.
  • Selling & Merchandising : Utilize professional sales techniques and market knowledge to support the listing, placement, and promotion of Client brands. This includes securing incremental displays, ensuring proper shelving, and executing pricing and merchandising strategies that align with Client objectives.
  • Inventory & Stock Management : Monitor inventory levels to ensure that retail partners maintain sufficient stock of Client products to meet demand. Coordinate product flow from backrooms to shelves to avoid out-of-stock situations.
  • Data & Reporting : Enter required data into the BMI 360 platform (reporting platform), including distribution tracking, promotional activities, call effectiveness, and merchandising. Provide regular feedback to the Regional Lead on key field developments, competitive activity, and emerging customer trends.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with retail decision-makers. Serve as the primary point of contact for all merchandising and promotional needs. Ensure compliance with Client guidelines and expectations.
  • Special Projects & Assignments : Participate in regional and national meetings, conference calls, and special assignments such as audits, sales blitzes, or promotional initiatives as required by the Regional Manager.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork : Work closely with the Brand Momentum & Client team, contributing to both team and individual goals related to sales, distribution, and product visibility.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience : Minimum of 1 years of experience in sales and merchandising, ideally in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry or a similar sales service environment.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Comfortable using web-based software for data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Knowledge : Strong understanding of the Client's brands, product categories, and market positioning.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and French is an asset, especially for roles based in Quebec.
  • Driving : Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.

  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the BC Sales Manager, this positions mandate is to increase the sales and market share of the Escalade portfolio of brands within the parameters set and in line with expectations of the company. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining critical partner relationships with retail stores and restaurants within the territory.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Retail

  • Drive sales of the Escalade Wines & Spirits portfolio
  • Strive to exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales objectives and KPIs
  • Increase territory distribution, focus on core brands
  • Maximize opportunities across all channels amplifying brand sales in top selling stores, focus on fridge and shelf placements
  • Organize trade days for supplier and manager visits in accordance with EWS best practices
  • Pitch quarterly programming and work with retail chain store mangers to execute programs
  • Set 6-week route plan to maximize efficient coverage of territory

Restaurants:

  • Maintain and develop existing relationships
  • Look for new opportunities for features and BTG pours



Administrative & Other Responsibilities:

  • Record and manage daily activities through CHG XRM system ensuring accurate records
  • Maintain accurate and current account data base through XRM
  • Work to maximize budgets available and manage expenses within company guidelines
  • Participate in trade shows, supplier dinners and events as required
  • This position requires flexible hours and will sometimes require nights and weekends with trade shows, supplier dinners, events outside of regular workdays



Job Qualifications:

  • Experience: The ideal candidate has a passion for wine and spirits, has completed WSET level 2 (or a minimum of WSET level 1) and has worked in the restaurant or retail wine industry. College or university degree in business/sales/marketing preferred. Knowledge in the liquor sales industry preferred as well as minimum 2+ years of outside sales experience.
  • Skills: Driven team player with strong interpersonal skills. Strength in sales with excellent written and verbal communication. Skilled presenter with ability to adapt to audiences.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of the liquor industry and successful completion of wine and spirit courses is desirable (e.g.: WSET) and will be required to obtain if hired.
  • Territory coverage: Okanagan Region, Kamloops, Revelstoke, Nelson, Cranbrook, Invermere, Salmon Arm, Prince George
  • Physical: Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds and be able to handle heavy POS material.
  • Other: Must possess and maintain a valid BC Drivers License and must meet the companys automobile insurance requirements. Must have any maintain a valid passport.

Base salary and incentive bonuses commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Business-related expenses are covered. Own car required; car allowance and gas are provided.
