**We are hiring a Sanitation Lead in Vaughan, Ontario!**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Lead to oversee plant-wide mandated training for employees and ensure that cleaning contractors meet our stringent training requirements. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our food production facilities.
**Responsibilities**
Ensure and audit completion of Plant Sanitation Audits and follow up with required corrective actions identified in the audits.
Coordinate and prepare both facilities for all audits, ensuring compliance with food safety policies and procedures.
Identify equipment to be cleaned, plan cleaning schedules, and determine the number of individuals required for cleaning tasks.
Conduct clean-up inspections and validations using swabs and samples collected to ensure adherence to sanitation schedules.
Develop and maintain written cleaning procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all plant equipment.
Manage sanitation supply inventory levels to meet targets without impeding plant objectives.
Establish a tour route checklist for critical equipment and report findings on a daily basis.
Manage a list of damaged equipment during sanitation and implement corrective measures.
Ensure effective implementation and adherence to Food Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures including SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards.
Support and upgrade the skills and knowledge of employees and outside cleaning contractors, ensuring diversity and inclusion standards are met.
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, enforcing daily procedures related to ''Lock-Out Tag-Out''.
**Essential Skills**
1-2 years'' experience in Food Plant Sanitation, preferably in a food setting using fresh and frozen ingredients.
Experience with sanitation in a meat facility.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and people skills.
Advanced problem-solving, process management, and analytical skills in a time-sensitive environment.
Understanding of quality standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience in janitorial duties and housekeeping.
Knowledge of the food manufacturing and food production industry.
Comfortable working with chemicals.

+ Determine how to set up work area based on instructions received.

Role Overview
Reporting to the Marketing Team Lead for Infrastructure, Canada East, the Pursuit Lead collaborates with business line leadership and pursuit teams to drive successful proposal, pursuit and marketing activities for must-win, strategic pursuits across the region. The role includes oversight, coordination, and delivery on all aspects of complex proposals involving multiple contributors, including working with technical teams to brainstorm strategy and messaging, create and execute pursuit-specific marketing campaigns, develop win plans, identify unique and applicable qualifications, develop content, undertake compliance assurance, and manage the schedule/deadlines/process.
The role also includes working with a larger Stantec team of Marketing, Business Development, Public Relations, and Communications professionals to build our brand awareness and identify market opportunities for top line growth.
Your Key Responsibilities
Strategy Support and Implementation:
- Diligently follow our business development process on large strategic and must-win pursuits.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Leaders, Business Development leads, Business Centre leaders, Account Managers, Project Managers, and Operations Leadership (pursuit team) in developing distinctive value propositions and win themes that clearly differentiate Stantec.
- Leverage companywide network to identify and put forward Stantec's unique capabilities and resources.
- Early involvement in the pursuit process to develop an overall action plan that includes due diligence, profiles of decision-makers and influencers, competitor analysis, project-specific win plan (client issues, features, benefits, and proof statements), strategic teaming plan, and spearhead the preliminary go/no go and strategy review.
- Support pursuit team in key pre-RFP "opening game" activities, e.g., client, competitor, and market research; identifying and tracking top client capital plans.
- Actively work with pursuit team to develop and implement pursuit-specific action plans in "middle game" (once specific opportunity is identified, but prior to issuance of an RFP), e.g., document due diligence in project brief, develop win plan, SWOT analyses, and executive summary, conduct preliminary go/no go and strategy review, identify execution team.
- Plan, organize, and direct all elements of the "end game" (signified by issuance of an RFP), e.g. analyze client request, develop response plan, initiate final go/no go, facilitate strategy review (pink team), conduct kick-off meeting, manage and work with pursuit team to develop response sections, lead in-progress reviews, prepare red team review package, incorporate red team input, schedule pricing reviews, ensure on-time response delivery.
- Work with pursuit team in developing innovative solutions and leverage corporate network to identify existing capabilities that respond to client challenges and create a distinctive competitive advantage.
- Create and modify existing materials and write content to effectively communicate services, capabilities, and market messages.
- Drive the proposal management and development process of diverse teams towards client-established deadlines and in compliance with client-set expectations.
