Job Summary
The Manager, Marketing and Communications will lead the development and execution of TalentED Greater Calgarys marketing and communications strategy. This includes content creation, brand storytelling, market research, media relations, campaign launches, and event coordination. The role works closely with the TalentED Secretariat to engage internal and external audiences and manage partnerships and sponsorships.
This is a full-time contract position with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing
- Develop and execute marketing, communications and media relations plans for TalentED Greater Calgary, ensuring they align with project objectives and company goals.
- Apply change management for TalentED rebrand, focusing on strategic communications and target audience engagement.
- Be the primary storyteller for TalentED Greater Calgary at CED by writing work-based learning stories, website content, campaign content, email content, press releases for funding announcements, speaking notes for key spokespeople at events, Board communications, reports, presentations, newsletters, and more.
- Create engaging social media content and videos according to branding standards, to increase audience reach.
- Lead TalentED digital marketing through advertising, SEO, analytics, and website maintenance.
