Job Description
- Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Assist various functions with manual labor tasks as needed
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete tasks
- Work under immediate supervision; independent judgment is not typically required
- Report to a supervisor or manager
- Empty all trash containers and collect all types of recycling
- Set up conference rooms and auditoriums as needed
- Clean cafeterias, lunchrooms, conference rooms, and outside areas of buildings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Required
- 4–6 years of experience in a similar role
- Certified forklift operation
- Bobcat operation
- Willingness and ability to work varied shifts (early mornings, evenings, weekends)
Ability to follow safety protocols and wear PPE (safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis clothing, respirator, and dust mask)
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift certification (required)
- Bobcat operation certification (required)
- Pesticide applicator’s license (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Fall protection training (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Confined space training (preferred)
- Scissor lift training (preferred or willingness to obtain)
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check
- Shift: 07:00
- The role requires shift flexibility, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional Saturdays.
- Flexibility to work at two different nearby locations (approximately 15 minutes apart)
- Willingness to receive necessary training for:
- Bobcat
- Forklift
- Scissor lift
- Fall protection
- Pesticide application
- Use of respirator and other PPE
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour based on qualifications.
