We service our customers from three locations in Ontario, one in British Columbia and one in New Brunswick with a total land base of over 700 acres. BTN is currently looking at growing our team at our Chilliwack, BC location. Position: Production Supervisor Scope & Objectives As Production Supervisor, you will work with the Grower to plan, organize and carry out the annual production plan and Supervise any staff allocated to the potting process. The main duties associated with this position may include, but not be limited to; * Selecting staff for various tasks associated with the potting process. * Allocating of equipment needed. * Monitoring the health of all liners from the time of arrival to the time that newly potted plants have been returned to their growing locations. * Work with the Grower to determine the source of BTN inventory to be upshifted. * Carry out all post potting counts and finalize potting reports on a daily basis. * Assess daily needs and make sure supplies such as soil and pots are always available. Position and Fit

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing our Day shift automotive upfitting team. Our upfitters work each day to modify OEM vehicles into police and emergency vehicles through, routing and installing wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and consoles. Previous experience with any of those tasks is considered an asset.

This is a high energy role with plenty of time spent on the production floor observing and overcoming issues to ensure scheduled production demands are met each day. The successful candidate will lead and manage all production-related activities for the Switchgear value stream through the Regal Business System which enables continuous improvement throughout the value stream to meet our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business. You will lead Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Performance to exceed our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business. You will play a key role in achieving short- and long-term strategic planning objectives. Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the Value Stream and all aspects of manufacturing operations, safety, quality and delivery
• Lead the Value Stream management cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) that drives SQDC for the Site.
• Provide effective leadership, coaching and mentorship for the employees.
• Identify and provide necessary training resources for new employees.
• Lead and engage employees during kaizen events to drive continuous improvement and foster a progressive organization.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement tools to solve problems.
• Maintain daily production statistics, including customer demand, past dues, and backlog.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of experience as a leader in a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Exposure to ETO or CTO manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and bills of materials for distribution systems.
• Ability to use Lean CI tools such as 5S, Std Work, SMED, 3P, VDM, and problem solving.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Attention to details

• Strategic planning skills
• Communication skills in English: written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.

Production Supervisor – Calgary, Alberta (Permanent Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily operations across multiple departments, including sheet metal, assembly, electrical, and welding. You will manage a team of 35–50 employees, reporting through 3–5 lead hands, and work directly with a Production Manager to ensure smooth and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate production teams to meet manufacturing goals
• Communicate job expectations and provide coaching, training, and discipline as needed
• Schedule and assign personnel, monitor progress, and report shift production summaries
• Ensure accurate timesheet reporting and compliance
• Collaborate across departments to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Promote workplace safety through Job Hazard Assessments and coordination with the Safety team
• Oversee resource allocation and timely execution of work orders

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in production supervision
• 5+ years in a skilled trade or Journeyman certification in HVAC, Welding, Electrical, or Sheet Metal
• Proven ability to supervise teams of 20–30+ employees
• Strong understanding of safety procedures; safety committee experience preferred
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement

Preferred Skills

• Journeyman certification in electrical, welding, or sheet metal
• Experience mentoring apprentices
• Leadership experience with teams of 30+ employees
