As a licensed millwright you are responsible for daily completion of production processes within a work area, operational department, operational support area, or technical domain. You need to ensure that areas of responsibilities meet BU/Plant standards for safety, quality, efficiency and financial performance. Perform general maintenance work to install and maintain process equipment and structures, has a basic knowledge of and ability to complete welding, pipe fitting, pump work, machinery, heating and plumbing, etc. This work requires knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to dealing with general repair work. Perform tasks by applying skills and knowledge of one or more products, processes, areas or machines. Have a thorough understanding of the process, work flow and works on assignments where judgment is required to resolve problems and make recommendations.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Operate motorized vehicles with components used to move or lift products, equipment, or materials within and amongst destinations (warehouses, storage yards, plant factories, railroad stations, offices, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

- Able to perform maintenance trades including electrical, machinist, welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems.
- Previous experience with MRO (Maintenance Repair Ops) and/or MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
- Basic knowledge of industrial safety, food safety and environmental regulations with absolute commitment to safety.
- Strong problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Maintenance Reliability process (predictive and preventative maintenance) and Predictive Technologies.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment

**Safety & Compliance Leadership**

Qualifications:

Maintenance Technician - Food MfgShift: 8 to 12 hours rotationalWe are seeking a mechanically skilled individual who can work on maintaining plant systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues which may arise during production, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Equipment used in this food processing facility includes industrial, electromechanical, and hydraulic equipment as well as pumps and conveying systems.
The Maintenance Mechanic must be able to troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, generators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, packaging machines, VFDs, PLCs, etc…
Other duties include.
- Inspect and examine machinery (conveyors, packers, seasoners, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, etc.) to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
- Perform maintenance tasks according to work orders (cleaning, lubrication, etc.)

- Will be provided a base hourly rate of $29.40 to $4.10/hour
- Mechanics working in Fox Creek, Edson, Hinton, Whitecourt will receive a skilled trades premium of 3/hour
- Mechanics working in Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview will receive a skilled trades premium of 5/hour

# Work Conditions:
- Work is based in your home shop, with occasional travel to field operations in your locale
- As LHL respond to changing weather conditions, some on call duties may be required

# Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of plows/sanding trucks, loaders, light support gear and heavy construction equipment
- Perform CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers
- Attend service calls in the field as required
- Follows manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
- Engages and participates in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
# Qualifications:
- Current registration in a Heavy Equipment Technician apprenticeship with AIT
- On‑Road & Off‑Road tickets preferred
- Experience with heavy civil construction, highway paving, or highway maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
- Must successfully pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Driver’s License with the ability to provide a 3‑year driver’s abstract
- Strong ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including those with sketches and diagrams
