Maintenance Technician - Food MfgShift: 8 to 12 hours rotationalWe are seeking a mechanically skilled individual who can work on maintaining plant systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues which may arise during production, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. - Mechanics working in Fox Creek, Edson, Hinton, Whitecourt will receive a skilled trades premium of 3/hour
- Mechanics working in Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview will receive a skilled trades premium of 5/hour

# Work Conditions:
- Work is based in your home shop, with occasional travel to field operations in your locale

# Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of plows/sanding trucks, loaders, light support gear and heavy construction equipment
- Perform CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers
- Attend service calls in the field as required
- Follows manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
- Engages and participates in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
# Qualifications:
- Current registration in a Heavy Equipment Technician apprenticeship with AIT
- On‑Road & Off‑Road tickets preferred
- Experience with heavy civil construction, highway paving, or highway maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
- Must successfully pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing
- Valid Driver’s License with the ability to provide a 3‑year driver’s abstract
