The Redpath Belleville plant is a blending and packaging operation producing a variety of sugar containing products for customers in Canada and the U.S. The plant operates state of the art high speed mixing and packaging systems supported by high level safety, quality and logistics systems.

**Overview**

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for operating various types of packaging and mixing equipment.

**Detailed Roles & Responsibilities**

- Preparing materials and weighing ingredients for product blending
- Operating mixing equipment and ensuring accurate completion of processing steps and quality requirements
- Being part of a packaging line team operating packing, labeling, and palletizing equipment
- Completing sanitation and good housekeeping activities in the plant
- Maintaining all required sampling, documentation, and verification activities for your tasks.
- You are a team player who is eager to learn and have attention to detail and pride in your work.
- In addition, you will also be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in your area and following Good Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety Policies.

**Requirements**

- To be successful in the position, we required High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and ability to use hand tools, use digital scale with timer and enter weights into a computer.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment or food production environment is also an asset.

**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**

Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Labourer will be responsible to ensure Aecon Construction Solutions Inc. achieves their general and specific project requirements.



**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Prepare and clean up construction sites
* Move materials and equipment and perform demolition, excavation and compaction activities
* Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas; remove rubble and other debris)
* Spot for equipment operators when required
* Sparkwatch/firewatch
* General site maintenance
* Snow removal when required

**Labourer**

Canadian Western Infrastructure is looking for general labourer for work in Rocky Mountain House, Clearwater County Area, AB. This position supports HDD drilling, plowing work to install the new Fiber network.

RESPONSIBILITIES*
To provide some idea of the tasks you may be performing, a list of responsibilities may include:

* The work scope is backfilling and moving materials for HDD Drilling (fiber) / plowing construction;
* Must be willing to perform manual labour as required;
* Executing field projects according to instructions provided by the client, project manager and the field supervisor with minimal supervision;
* Work with minimal supervision and direction;
* Execute work in a safety conscious manner;
* Complete all site documentation as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Qualifications for this project are a combination of skills and attitude:

* Labourer experience
* Neat and diligent in maintaining equipment
* Good judgement and problem-solving capacity
* Ability to tow a trailer, including backing up, loading and load securement is a plus (training provided).
* Fit to work in a rigorous environment
* Ability to work alongside highways and rural roadways safely is a must.
* Experience with skid steers and mini-backhoes an asset.
* CSTS and Ground Disturbance level 2 training is required.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
