About the Role

What You Need
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada and at least 18 years old

- Full License with 8,000 Apprenticeship hours completed
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a licensed Mechanic Millwright in a manufacturing/production environment

- English reading and writing skills
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) and work in confined spaces

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
The Race Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day communication and administration of the Blue Mountain/Jozo Weider Race and Freestyle program, working closely with the other Race Administrator, Supervisors and the Manager of Race, Head Coach. The Race Administrator will also be the point of sale representative for Race and Freestyle programming and families, and have communication on a daily basis to onsite recreational service departments including snow school and summer programming, sales, guest services, and marketing. They will also assist with daily guest check-ins throughout the programming day and also work in part with the Snow School team on overall administrational requirements.
- The Race Administrator will be the point of sale representative for Race and Freestyle programming and families, and as needed for internal races and events.
- The Race Administrator will have communication on a daily basis to onsite recreational service departments including snow school and summer programming, sales, guest services, and marketing.
- The Race Administrator will manage all staff information and will work with the department's leadership team to keep race, competition and events staff scheduling and payroll up to date.
- The Race Administrator will be required to assist as needed on race and event days, both indoors and outdoors.
- Be a champion of the "Guest Experience".
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- 3-5 years of administrative experience required, past administrative experience at Blue Mountain preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary degree/diploma in business or administrative is an asset.
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous ski, race, freestyle, coaching and/or ski instructing experience Is preferred.
- Must be able to work weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) from mid-December to end of March.
- Successful applicants (18yrs of age+) are required to provide a Criminal Background Check.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
This position assists guests in our Tube Park, starting them down the track and guiding/assisting them at the bottom.
- To provide a great experience for the guest through polite, professional and engaging conversation while ensuring a high level of service.
- Check guest tickets to ensure they are visible, properly fastened and within the allotted time.
- Track maintenance and test tracks daily for safety and report any issues.
- Control the flow of customers within the tracks.
- Ensure customer safety within the park by following rules and guidelines set by management.
- Snow removal as required.
