- May prepare snacks and assist in feeding the resident, if required
- Assist residents to the Dining Room for meals or delivers a food tray to the residents' apartment
- Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes, making beds, or mopping floors.
- May perform routine health-related duties such as collecting specimens under the general direction of the General Manager/Resident Care Coordinator.
- Provide companionship to residents
- Observe any changes in residents' condition and communicates these changes to the General Manager/Resident Care Coordinator.
- Work in conjunction with other members of the Health Care Team, to provide effective and appropriate standards of care for all residents.
- Ensure residents' personal hygiene and other necessary household items are in stock
- Support and encourage residents to maintain an independent lifestyle for as long as possible.
- Follow all health and safety legislation as it relates to the Nursing and Health Care Departments.
- Ensure use of proper infection control techniques and sanitation.
- Practice safety measures to prevent injuries, including proper body mechanics
- Experience in Personal Care work with older adults
- CCA certification and/or courses in Personal Care would be an asset
- First Aid and CPR certificates

New Product Development:
Develop formulations for Personal Care, Skin Care, and Color Cosmetics products.
Follow industry standards for scientific integrity, accuracy, safety, and record-keeping.
Optimize ingredient formulations to meet cost objectives and manage raw material availability.
Create and optimize formulations for:
Skincare (moisturizers, cleansers, toners, masks)
Hair care (shampoos, conditioners, styling products)
Bath and body (body wash, lotions)
General cleansing (liquid and foaming hand soap, hand sanitizer)
Specialty products (sunscreen, acne treatments, anti-aging products)
Prototypes and small-batch samples
Execute project commitments and develop contingency plans as needed.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
