Survey projects vary in length from half day to three-week assignments at locations across Canada and occasionally the USA. Pilots normally fly 300-500 hours per year. Qualifications:

• Commit to residing in Canada during the fire season.
• Hold a valid Canadian ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
• Able to obtain a Canadian Category 1 Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) experience.
• At least 250 hours of flying in mountainous terrain.
• Recent flying experience within the last 12 months.

Additional Qualifications for Specific Aircraft:

For seaplane or tailwheel aircraft positions:

• 500 hours PIC on seaplane in a commercial operation, or
• 200 hours on certified tailwheel aircraft.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Tactical Instructor Pilots will be responsible for training and developing military pilots in advanced tactical flying techniques and combat operations. Education and experience
