We are looking for an aerospace engineer to join our team to train AI models. You will measure the progress of these AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve the quality of each model.

In this role you will need to hold an expert understanding of aerospace engineering- a completed or in progress Masters/PhD is preferred but not required. Other related fields include, but are not limited to: Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aeroscience.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors, with emphasis on Quebec and North American markets.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in business development or strategic sales within aerospace or a related technical field.

  • Direct experience working with or selling to major aerospace OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.

  • In-depth understanding of aerospace supply chains, procurement cycles, and the Quebec aerospace ecosystem.

  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident in translating technical concepts into client-focused solutions.

  • Background or familiarity with engineering or manufacturing environments is an asset.

  • Bilingual in French and English.

  • Willingness to travel across North America (approx. 1 week/month).

  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline tracking tools.

Profil recherché

  • Excellente connaissance de la chaîne d’approvisionnement aérospatiale, des cycles d’approvisionnement et de l’écosystème québécois de l’aérospatiale.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor  to coordinate and oversee the work of maintenance personnel: mechanics, avionics technicians, sheet metal workers, interior mechanics, and other classifications under their responsibility.

This position is a great opportunity for a certified technician looking to move into a supervisory role and contribute to the performance and reliability of our fleet.

Main Responsibilities

  • Motivate and guide employees to achieve departmental goals.
  • Ensure all maintenance work on company aircraft complies with MCM/MPM requirements and manufacturer manuals.
  • Review aircraft logbook entries issued by the maintenance department.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure aircraft are serviceable for scheduled departures.
  • Recommend safety, training, or process improvements to the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
  • Monitor and report absenteeism, tardiness, and performance issues to the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
  • Promote a positive and progressive approach to discipline in collaboration with management.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance bases to ensure proper follow-up on aircraft discrepancies.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Hangar & Line Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications

  • College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a certified technician
  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance license
  • Knowledge of the AMOS system (an asset)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience as a team leader (an asset)
  • Recent certification on Air Transat aircraft (an asset)
  • Bilingual (French and English)*

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.

Your Role

Under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance, your role will consist of performing routine maintenance tasks as scheduled by your coordinator.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, overhauls, or modifications on aircraft, components, and equipment within Starlink’s fleet as assigned;
  • Complying with procedures outlined in the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM);
  • Reporting any discrepancies found during maintenance activities to the maintenance coordinators;
  • Reporting any uncompleted work to the maintenance coordinators using the proper deferral process;
  • Supporting the rectification of deficiencies found during routine inspections or reported by flight crews after a flight;
  • Carrying out tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures, with a strong focus on personal safety, as well as the safety of colleagues and clients;
  • Maintaining required training certifications;
  • Following all health and safety procedures and only using company-approved equipment and materials;
  • Keeping a clean and organized work environment;
  • May be required to assist other teams (e.g., line maintenance or heavy/moderate maintenance) during downtime in their assigned team;
  • Performing any other related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (maintenance);
  • Must be in the process of obtaining a valid AME license from Transport Canada;
  • Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations;
  • Ability to perform tasks in accordance with aircraft specifications and maintenance manuals;
  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
  • Eligible for obtaining an identity card for restricted areas (RAIC);
  • Driver's License class 5 (an asset).

  • Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status;
