Our client is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team! This person will be reporting to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Update all booked vessels- Movement files
- Request all shipping documents with our factories
- Creates all movement files for production coordinators
- Communicates with production coordinators to approve bookings
- Communicates daily with overseas China office
- Prepares wire payments
- Follows up on all shipments to our warehouse
- Consolidates shipments when needed and negotiates best rates
- Meets all delivery timelines set by director
- Approves all brokerage and freight invoices for payment and releases for wire payment
- Creates all HTS codes and enters in ERP system
- Enters all in transit records for each shipment
- Enters shipments pre-alert information
- Adjusts quantities in ERP system to match quantities shipped
- Receiving goods, in ERP for import files
- Monthly analysis of shipments reports
- Prepares duty draw back each end year
- Tracks any duty special claims to be made
- Monitors freight rates monthly for any adjustments
- Monitors freight and custom rates each end shipping season and compares rates for better comparison
- Proactive in priorities given by your director to perform workload efficiently within the working time frame

As a logistics clerk, you will play a key role in managing our international shipments. You will be primarily responsible for customs documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders and carriers, and tracking shipments to ensure compliance and on-time delivery. You will also support the team in internal inventory management and local shipments during quieter periods.
Main responsibilities: Secondary tasks (depending on workload):
- Prepare and verify the documentation required for international shipments: commercial invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.
- Follow up on customs clearance procedures with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
- Verify compliance with Incoterms and customs requirements of destination countries.
- Book and coordinate transportation (air, sea, road, express).
- Track shipments in transit and communicate information to internal and external customers.
- Maintain shipping records and generate logistics reports (lead times, costs, carrier performance).
- Maintain close communication with production, service, and sales to coordinate deliveries.
- Receive and inspect incoming goods, verify their compliance with purchase orders.
- Prepare and pack local or national orders.
- Enter stock in and out of the ERP system.
- Participate in inventories and report discrepancies.
- Keep the shipping and storage area tidy and clean.
- High school diploma minimum (AEC or DEC in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management: an asset).
- Experience in international logistics and customs documentation (required or strongly desired).
- Knowledge of Incoterms and export/import regulations.
- Bilingualism in French/English (spoken and written).
- Rigorous, organized, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously.

We are looking for an Logistic Engineer to report to the Team Lead, Logistics Strategy EV crate distribution. In this role, you will work closely with various multidisciplinary teams to determine optimal strategies for the supply chain. You'll face a variety of stimulating challenges, working at the heart of BRP's transformation, innovation and continuous improvement.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate in volume projection analysis projects and their impact on space and budget requirements for raw material and finished product storage.
Analyze the impact of new model introductions in terms of warehouse space, packaging, labor, transportation, and inventory.
Propose solutions in collaboration with other departments, such as purchasing, engineering, or customs, to establish the best solution for the company for the different challenges.
Analyze finished product inventory, measuring the impact on warehouse space and labor.
Identify and analyze budgetary requirements for various projects, prepare the necessary documentation for their presentation and follow-up.
Conduct analyses to optimize costs related to parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, logistics labor, and our warehousing capacity.
Use CAD to analyze and optimize warehouse layouts
Use CATIA to analyze and optimize packaging for raw materials and finished products
Analyse actual supply chain and propose saving opportunities on actual transportation density
Foster effective communication and teamwork with the local team
Suggest improvements to current tools used for scenario analysis and logistics calculations
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations/logistics management, or other relevant fields.
Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, logistics, supply chain management, or a relevant field.
Project management experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual (both oral and written) French and English (Spanish and Vietnamese is an asset). English is required because the candidate will be working daily with our international teams, particularly in Canada but also in the US and Finland.
Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Catia
