As a logistics clerk, you will play a key role in managing our international shipments. You will be primarily responsible for customs documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders and carriers, and tracking shipments to ensure compliance and on-time delivery. You will also support the team in internal inventory management and local shipments during quieter periods.

Main responsibilities: Secondary tasks (depending on workload):

• Prepare and verify the documentation required for international shipments: commercial invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.
• Follow up on customs clearance procedures with customs brokers and freight forwarders.
• Verify compliance with Incoterms and customs requirements of destination countries.
• Book and coordinate transportation (air, sea, road, express).
• Track shipments in transit and communicate information to internal and external customers.
• Maintain shipping records and generate logistics reports (lead times, costs, carrier performance).
• Maintain close communication with production, service, and sales to coordinate deliveries.

• Receive and inspect incoming goods, verify their compliance with purchase orders.
• Prepare and pack local or national orders.
• Enter stock in and out of the ERP system.
• Participate in inventories and report discrepancies.
• Keep the shipping and storage area tidy and clean.

• High school diploma minimum (AEC or DEC in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management: an asset).
• Experience in international logistics and customs documentation (required or strongly desired).
• Knowledge of Incoterms and export/import regulations.
• Bilingualism in French/English (spoken and written).
• Rigorous, organized, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously.
• Experience with customs brokers or freight forwarders: a major asset.

• Ensure the distribution of incoming and outgoing Canada / USA trips in
  full and partial load, from request to delivery;
• Distribute and supervise dedicated customer orders;
• Negotiate competitive rates with Canada / USA partners (carrier);
• Respond to customer transportation requests by phone or email;
• Seek new transportation providers and carry out business development with them;
• Enter quotes / sales orders;

Reporting to the Manager Logistics Flow Optimization, the Logistics Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping optimal logistics flow within RONA’s dynamic supply chain.

Using an array of tools and data sources, the logistics analyst will make informed decisions on distribution channels, inbound transportation models and product storage parameters. This includes overseeing mandatory carton specifications and assigning distribution centers for optimal storage and handling.

The Logistics Analyst serves as a technical expert with a solid foundation in supply chain fundamentals. They are committed to continually enhancing their expertise to navigate the complexities of RONA’s ever-evolving distribution network.

Results-oriented and with strong analytical skills, the Logistics Analyst possesses the ability to communicate complex insight in a clear and simplifier manner, providing crucial support to internal stakeholders.

The Analyst proactively identifies opportunities to enhance the operational performance of logistics flows through tight control of financial parameters and alignment between operational decisions and the overarching supply chain strategies.

As an integral individual contributor, the Logistics Analyst manages regular operational requests, conducts ad-hoc analyses, and ensures the periodic maintenance of critical parameters. They actively participate in business projects, providing valuable insights within the defined mandates and deliverables.

• Analyze regular operational requests requiring the assignment or revision of business rules and parameters concerning the logistics flows of goods within the supply chain

• Perform analyses on problems and/or anomalies reported by operational teams, propose solutions, make corrections, if necessary, or solicit input from appropriate support groups

• Act as a subject matter expert and resource person at head office for the company's support functions

• Manage logistical decision-making activities requiring the buy-in of contributors from multiple business lines.

• Develop, implement, maintain, evolve and configure tools to support analysis and decision-making for logistics flow rules

• Support initiatives to optimize supply chain operational efficiency

• Participate in the documentation and mapping of key processes, as well as the development of diagrams of decision-making processes at the level of logistics flows.

• Build relationships and collaborate with multiple teams and experts across locations and departments, including supply chain, go-to-market, and master data management teams

• Produce ad-hoc analysis and reports for management

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain), Engineering or related field

• Between 3 and 7 years of progressively responsible role experience in the distribution, logistics or transportation industries is required

• Experience in the retail sector, with a large national distributor or a transport/logistics service provider

• Critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills; Proactive approach and willingness to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proven track record of completing tasks efficiently and on time, while effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for an Logistic Engineer to report to the Team Lead, Logistics Strategy EV crate distribution. In this role, you will work closely with various multidisciplinary teams to determine optimal strategies for the supply chain. You'll face a variety of stimulating challenges, working at the heart of BRP's transformation, innovation and continuous improvement.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Participate in volume projection analysis projects and their impact on space and budget requirements for raw material and finished product storage.

• Analyze the impact of new model introductions in terms of warehouse space, packaging, labor, transportation, and inventory.

• Propose solutions in collaboration with other departments, such as purchasing, engineering, or customs, to establish the best solution for the company for the different challenges.

• Analyze finished product inventory, measuring the impact on warehouse space and labor.

• Identify and analyze budgetary requirements for various projects, prepare the necessary documentation for their presentation and follow-up.

• Conduct analyses to optimize costs related to parts transportation, packaging, inventory management, logistics labor, and our warehousing capacity.

• Use CAD to analyze and optimize warehouse layouts

• Use CATIA to analyze and optimize packaging for raw materials and finished products

• Analyse actual supply chain and propose saving opportunities on actual transportation density

• Foster effective communication and teamwork with the local team

• Suggest improvements to current tools used for scenario analysis and logistics calculations

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations/logistics management, or other relevant fields.

• Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, logistics, supply chain management, or a relevant field.

• Project management experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Bilingual (both oral and written) French and English (Spanish and Vietnamese is an asset). English is required because the candidate will be working daily with our international teams, particularly in Canada but also in the US and Finland.

• Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project management software

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Catia

• Proficiency in simulation software (Anylogic, Arena, etc.) is an asset

• Ability to communicate and synthesize complex information to diverse audiences and build presentations. Ability to create executive presentations.

• A sense of initiative and ability to excel, autonomy, structure, and rigor.

• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team

• Knowledge of SAP is an asset

• This position requires the availability to travel abroad 3 to 4 times per year. Ability and authorizations to travel to the US and Mexico (Mandatory)
