JOB SUMMARY :
Repair, maintain all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and water equipment in and on the facility. Install new equipment, and mechanical systems such as mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and water. Must be able to use lifting devices such as cranes and booms. Must be able to fabricate and complete projects within a timeline. Work to a preventative maintenance program, and work within a team of maintenance personnel to repair, troubleshoot and maintain injection molding equipment.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- All work must be performed in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with Company
Policy, local, provincial and/or federal rules and regulations and the Collective Agreement;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Awareness and understanding of Environmental Policy (ISO 14001) and Quality Policy (TS 16949) guidelines and how the position’s responsibilities impacts on environment and quality;
- Shows leadership to the workforce by his/her decision-making skills, motivational efforts, fairness and consistency so that employees are well aware of their performance and individual importance in the department;
- Ensures personnel performing work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of on-going training, appropriate education, skills and experience;
- Performs other duties as required by Manager/Supervisor to keep pace with changes in the scope of work.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and can be directed by Maintenance and operation supervisors;
- Responsible for keeping equipment safe and reporting any unsafe practices;
- Completes assigned work in a timely manner;
- Responsible for troubleshooting, assessing and rectifying breakdowns;
- Must show initiative in the constant improvement of process and safety;
- Responsible for the preventative maintenance on assigned equipment;
- Must keep work areas clean and safe;
- Must record time and specifics in the maintenance log book and start and end downtime in the production system;
- Must have some Hydraulic experience and be able to troubleshoot Hydraulic systems;
- Read and Decipher blueprints pertaining to equipment and building;
- Responsible for the reporting of issues identified on equipment pertaining to but not withstanding equipment and building electrical or mechanical;
- Other duties, as assigned.

- Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
- Must possess a 433A license in Ontario
EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED TRAINING:
- Must possess valid fork lift with propane handling certification;
- Certified crane operation;
- Must successfully complete lock-out and fall arrest training;
- Must successfully complete aerial lift training.
RECOMMENDED TRAINING: WHMIS.

The Biidaaban Healing Lodge is a 12-unit residential treatment programlocated on the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg formerly Pic River First Nation, which is approximately 25 kilometers from Marathon, ON. We are mandated to provide quality treatment to all Indigenous and Metis people residing in the Robinson Superior Treaty area. We provide treatment for unresolved trauma stemming from sexual abuse, family violence, adult children of trauma, grief and abandonment and anger solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Working as a team member within the Healing Lodge and in conjunction with the First Nation communities in the area and under the direction of the Executive Coordinator, the Maintenance Worker is responsible for:
Repair and Maintenance of the building, grounds and equipment
Maintain Ultraviolet Water Maintenance system
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Performing preventative maintenance.
Preform minor carpentry, plumbing, painting and maintenance work
Scheduling and coordinating repairs and maintenance with contracted individuals
Diagnosing and reporting building and repair issues

Qualifications:
A college or university degree in Maintenance related field (Combinations of education and work experience will be considered.)
A valid G class License
Previous experience in a Maintenance related position
Experience with or certification with Ultraviolet water systems would be an asset.
Experience working with First Nations individuals, families and communities, and a working knowledge of healing and recovery from a Native perspective.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication skills, a working knowledge of computer programs such as word, excel, outlook.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The welcoming Faubourg Giffard residence is looking for a maintenance attendant. Reporting to the maintenance director, the maintenance attendant's tasks include completing small renovations and ensuring cleanliness within the establishment.
Part-time night position, Friday and Saturday from midnight to 8:00 a.m.
Salary between $19.44/h and $20.97/h + night premium

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carpet washing
- Maintenance of common areas
- all other related tasks
- Carry out the maintenance of the premises in accordance to a regular reocurring schedule or as required
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
- CPR training (asset)
- Referral Program
- Uniform provided
