Our growing team is looking for a Physician Assistant to join us on a permanent full-time basis supporting our LMC Brampton clinic (2979 Bovaird Drive East, Brampton).
About the Opportunity
- LMC offers an established team of 6 Physicians Assistants, as well as full training and support from Endocrinologists and our PA Program Lead.
- Our PA program offers a professional development fund and education days, plus in-house learning opportunities for all team members, regardless of years of experience.
- In this role, you will provide medical care in the areas of endocrinology and diabetes under the supervision of an endocrinologist. You will also provide care as a sub-investigator in clinical research studies in diabetes, fulfilling the responsibilities of Good Clinical Practice.
- Medical directives are in place which are reviewed and updated annually.
- Professional development fund and education days are provided along with many opportunities to attend Endocrine specific conferences and rounds to enhance your knowledge and at the same time earn CPD credits.
- Our current PAs are also mentors to 1st and 2nd year PA students.
- There is a full training program for all new hires irrespective of years of experience as a PA.
- PAs are eligible for a competitive salary based on years of experience, as well as an Annual Performance Bonus program (eligibility based on minimum 1 year of performance in the role).
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week- no shift work, no nights, no weekends along with paid days off for holidays.
- Language Skills: Hindi or Urdu are an asset
- University-based accredited Physician Assistant training program (Bachelor or Master level).
- Must be a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
- Experience practicing as a Physician Assistant is considered an asset, however, we welcome new grads to our team!

- Must be able to function under moderate to high levels of stress
- Reliable attendance record
