Reporting to the District Manager the Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing restaurant operations at our franchise owned Tim Hortons restaurant. This includes overseeing Customer Service Team Members, facilities, and equipment to ensure that our high standards around people, product, cleanliness, and exceptional customer service are consistently met. **Operational Leadership**

WHAT'S THE JOB?

We are hiring a Baker to work at our Tim Hortons located at the University of PEI.  With no Drive-Through, we operate Monday-Friday; no evenings or weekends! This role will provide an exceptional experience, going above and beyond for our guests and creating a safe and fun working environment for our staff. 

As a Baker , you will delight our clients by preparing and baking goods to the highest standards of Tim Hortons.

Your work will include:

  • Preparing and baking goods 
  • Restocking pastry shelves and maintaining a sufficient and fresh supply of baked goods
  • Ensuring consistent quality standard in over-all food preparation as per clients’ requirements including consideration to special dietary constraints
  • Be able to get products from walk-in freezers, operate oven & decorate donuts and other products according to standards.
  • Operate oven/egg cooker and prepare baked products as assigned (including muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, meats etc …)
  • Prepare toppings, ingredients and required products for all baked good / food items.
  • Complying with food hygiene regulations in accordance with Food Safety Act
  • Complete Tim Horton training modules
  • Cleaning, washing, and sanitizing equipment and over-all work areas
  • Responsible for cash handling and cash register
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times, supporting an environment that strives to create exceptional culinary experiences
Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Previous experience working in a Tim Horton's or another fast paced food service establishment
  • Able to communicate well in written and verbal English
  • Experience as a baker or other food preparation environment
  • Experience as a cashier and cash handling
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; working in cold environments (ie fridge / freezer)
  • FoodSafe Level I is a minimum. SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification is an asset.

WHAT'S THE JOB?

We are hiring a Baker to work at our Tim Hortons located at the University of PEI.  With no Drive-Through, we operate Monday-Friday; no evenings or weekends! This role will provide an exceptional experience, going above and beyond for our guests and creating a safe and fun working environment for our staff. 

As a Baker , you will delight our clients by preparing and baking goods to the highest standards of Tim Hortons.

Your work will include:

  • Preparing and baking goods 
  • Restocking pastry shelves and maintaining a sufficient and fresh supply of baked goods
  • Ensuring consistent quality standard in over-all food preparation as per clients’ requirements including consideration to special dietary constraints
  • Be able to get products from walk-in freezers, operate oven & decorate donuts and other products according to standards.
  • Operate oven/egg cooker and prepare baked products as assigned (including muffins, donuts, breads, eggs, meats etc …)
  • Prepare toppings, ingredients and required products for all baked good / food items.
  • Complying with food hygiene regulations in accordance with Food Safety Act
  • Complete Tim Horton training modules
  • Cleaning, washing, and sanitizing equipment and over-all work areas
  • Responsible for cash handling and cash register
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times, supporting an environment that strives to create exceptional culinary experiences
Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Previous experience working in a Tim Horton's or another fast paced food service establishment
  • Able to communicate well in written and verbal English
  • Experience as a baker or other food preparation environment
  • Experience as a cashier and cash handling
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; working in cold environments (ie fridge / freezer)
  • FoodSafe Level I is a minimum. SafeCheck advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification is an asset.
