Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Wet Chemistry Analyst with at least 2 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in titration techniques, spectrophotometry, ELISA, pH and conductivity measurements, and buffer and solution preparation. A keen attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to innovation are essential for this role. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of analytical data generated through wet chemistry techniques, contributing to high-quality scientific outcomes and compliance with industry standards.

Your Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow hygiene and safety protocols in the laboratory.
  • Prepare samples, mobile phases, and solutions.
  • Conduct analyses under the supervision of a senior analyst.
  • Operate laboratory instruments and ensure their proper use.
  • Complete analyses within scheduled timelines.
  • Set up, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Accurately record and document analysis results.
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborate in optimizing and improving laboratory processes.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Your Basic Qualifications

  • Vocational training as a laboratory technician or equivalent.
  • Degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, or Life Sciences (BSc or Master's preferred).
  • Strong teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Precise and efficient working methods.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of laboratory instruments.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and in shifts as needed.
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to laboratory work.

Vos principales responsabilités

  • Préparer des échantillons, des phases mobiles et des solutions.
  • Effectuer des analyses sous la supervision d'un analyste principal.
  • Utiliser les instruments de laboratoire et s'assurer de leur utilisation appropriée.
  • Effectuer les analyses dans les délais prévus.
  • Installer, nettoyer et étalonner l'équipement et les instruments de laboratoire.
  • Enregistrer et documenter avec précision les résultats de l'analyse.
  • Prioriser les tâches et respecter les délais efficacement.
  • Collaborer à l'optimisation et à l'amélioration des processus de laboratoire.
  • Effectuer d'autres tâches connexes assignées par le superviseur immédiat.

Vos qualifications de base

  • Formation professionnelle en tant que technicien de laboratoire ou l'équivalent.
  • Diplôme en chimie, en technologie alimentaire ou en sciences de la vie (baccalauréat ès sciences ou maîtrise de préférence).
  • Solides compétences en matière de travail d'équipe, d'adaptabilité et de résolution de problèmes.
