**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our new facility as a Shipper/Receiver. This role requires operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift in narrow aisles and loading/unloading trailers. The candidate must be comfortable handling heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and working with tall pallets. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential as the role involves verifying orders and handling paperwork.
Time: 2pm to 10pm
Pay rate $20/Hour
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift in narrow aisles.
+ Load and unload trailers for internal transfers.
+ Use RF scanners to verify orders.
+ Manually unload and pick products, and check shipment orders for accuracy.
+ Break pallets, palletize, and wrap/unwrap pallets.
+ Unload product from incoming trucks.
+ Identify improper inventory counts and damages.
+ Label products correctly before storing them in designated areas.
+ Load orders accurately and safely in trucks as per shipment confirmation.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2 years of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift.
+ Experience working in narrow spaces such as trailers and narrow aisles.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

XTL Distribution wants to expand its team at our facility in Delta!

We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator  who will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading trailers and containers as well as the movement of merchandise on the dock.

Shift:

• Day shift : Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certificate
• Minimum 1 year of experience in forklift driving
• Ability to work in a team with a good sense of initiative
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
• Due to current CT-PAT policy, successful candidate will be subject to a background check
• Must be eligible to work within Canada
