Main Tasks:

  • Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation and delivery of goods, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with transport companies, suppliers, and customers
  • Manage all outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to the intended destination

Requirements

  • Plans and co-ordinates, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, the transportation of customer orders. While adhering to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, facilitate the shipping of orders on behalf of customers.
  • Utilize the in-house software system to complete daily logistical tasks.
  • Ensure that logistics on-time shipping objectives are met while meeting quality standards in an efficient, effective, and timely manner in accordance with Health and Safety, Collective Agreement, Quality, ISO 9001-2015, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement standards, and BRC policies and procedures.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of storage space and shipment of products.
  • As an integral part of the team, ensure that customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service throughout the flow of order processing, including readying loads for shipment and managing the inbound and outbound warehouse traffic as required.
  • Respond and report appropriately and efficiently to the Logistics Manager any and all problems with order flow or shipping delays and quality-control issues, such as damages, and client deadlines; work closely with the Logistics Manager to notify and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborate with Production, Customer Experience, Quality and Scheduling departments to ensure orders are completed and shipped out on time.

  • Arrange for the daily transport of materials to/from Tayco and Woodlore from BRC.
  • Responsible for ensuring all pick up orders are complete and communicated to the customer.
  • Responsible for scanning pick up, courier and carrier orders; responsible for all courier orders ensuring they ship on time and at the most cost-efficient method.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure all courier boxes and paperwork are well stocked as well as supplies, boxes and packaging materials to ship orders in a timely manner.
  • Basic, respectful, courteous and work well with others while building effective working relationships within the department and other department at BRC.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of management.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent level of experience.
  • 6 month to 1 year experience in a Logistics, Shipping and Receiving position, including 1 year experience in an Administrative capacity, Manufacturing/Warehousing environment, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience using ERP, SAP, and/or WMS systems an asset.
  • Excellent command of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in managing our transportation operations. This position is responsible for handling post-sales execution , ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, customers, and carriers , and resolving logistical challenges as they arise. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in 3PL logistics , a strong ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for shipment tracking, issue resolution, and carrier communication . Your ability to work under pressure, maintain strong relationships, and ensure compliance with regulations will be critical to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all inbound client inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving escalations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate shipments by working closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Perform accurate and efficient data entry for import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor and track shipments, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays, disruptions, or challenges.
  • Ensure all shipment paperwork is accurate, complete, and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, shippers, and third-party logistics providers to optimize shipping efficiency.
  • Identify logistical inefficiencies and implement solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Maintain well-organized filing systems and records to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in 3PL logistics or transportation (required) .
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, freight forwarding, and transportation management .
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think quickly under pressure.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both customers and vendors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English .
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, TMS platforms, or freight management systems is an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000, based on experience.

About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various logistical systems, ensuring smooth operations and efficient resource utilization. This role requires proactive problem-solving, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future advancements within the college.

Rate Range: $48,000-$55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the procurement and distribution of educational materials, supplies, and equipment, including:
    • Textbooks / E-books
    • Lab Kits
    • Uniforms
    • Pop-up Labs (equipment, space rental)
  • Collaborate and assist with faculty, staff, students, and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate communication.
  • Maintain and update logistical records, databases, and inventory management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and institutional guidelines.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating logistics for campus events.

Qualifications
  • Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a similar role within Education preferred .
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and logistics software.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional evening and/or weekend hours may be required with prior notice.
