WHAT YOULL DO
- Oversee multiple electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency
- Manage project schedules, documentation and change orders, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Manage project budgets and track costs
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, site teams, field enablement (purchasing, finance, health & safety) and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication, common understanding and project alignment
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the Site Foreman and field teams
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications, industry standards, and company policies
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Minimum five years of experience in the construction industry (experience working for an electrical contractor is an asset)
- Strong understanding of (and experience with) project cost management, scheduling, and change order tracking for multiple projects
- High attention to detail
- Tech-savvy, with experience using project management and reporting tools; Jonas Construction experience an asset
- Additional relevant certifications (Journeyperson qualification or PMP) are an asset but not required

Project Delivery manages large, complex public infrastructure projects using a variety of contracting models, notably the public-private partnership (P3) approach to procurement and delivery. The P3 model leverages private sector financing and expertise in building public infrastructure with the objective of delivering projects on schedule and within approved budgets. The current project pipeline is valued at more than $35 billion in estimated design and construction costs.
The Project Manager will provide full ownership and leadership throughout the planning, transaction/procurement, and implementation phases of assigned project(s), including scope and stakeholder management, budget preparation, scheduling, risk mitigation, and coordination across multiple project workstreams.

What You Will Do:
- Lead complex infrastructure projects through all phases, including pre-transaction, RFQ/RFP, design, construction, commissioning, and final transfer of responsibility to operations.
- Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
- Manage planning, design, and construction of large and complex projects delivered through traditional direct-delivery (stipulated sum, construction management) and Public-Private Partnerships (P3s).
- Proactively identify project risks and develop practical solutions to mitigate them.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Lead presentations to seek approvals and demonstrate concepts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate agendas, processes, and procedures with internal and external team members to advance business objectives and project outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Background in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Engineering, or another relevant discipline to the design and construction industry.
- Substantial hands-on experience managing major, complex infrastructure projects, including direct oversight of consultants and contractors.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to high quality standards.
- Strong business acumen and experience managing budgets, schedules, technical requirements, and construction methodologies.
- Good understanding of traditional contract forms and P3 delivery models (Build-Finance, Design-Build-Finance, Design-Build-Finance-Maintain, etc.).
- Experience negotiating claims, scope changes, and other contractual items is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

As the Business Project Manager, you will be joining CIBC's Infrastructure Project Delivery team, with focus on delivery impacting Operations (Retail Account Services, Client Account Management, and Capital Markets, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management Operations). A Day in the Life
- Plan and forecast project resource needs.
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and quality control for the PDG.
- Communicate with leadership and support strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and guide team members, resolving conflicts and fostering collaboration.
- Work closely with HR and project leaders on talent development, performance management, and ensuring the right skills are in place to deliver successful projects.
- Monitor KPIs and optimize divisional performance.
- Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, reporting, and change management processes.
- Support project recovery planning when required.
What You'll Bring to the Team
- Diploma of Technology or a B. Eng is an asset.
- 10+ years of progressive responsibility in project, or construction management.
- Proven leadership in engineering and project delivery with a strong track record of success.

- Strong judgment and decision-making skills with a focus on effective, economic solutions.
- Experience on mining projects is an asset.

North American Project Manager
Project Manager
We're looking for an experienced UKG Project Manager to join our team and drive successful UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) project implementations.
This is a fully remote position based in Canada or USA.
A Project Manager will manage and lead Workforce Management (WFM) project phases on client projects and be the key Axsium interface to the customer and will manage all resources being supplied by Axsium to build a solid customer relationship, as well as, ensuring the successful completion of projects in an efficient, cost effective and quality manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Delivery
Lead WFM or Productivity project phases on client projects with the following requirements for project deliverables:
- Hold internal project kick off with the entire team to ensure scope, responsibilities, and objectives are fully understood
- Create the overall project plan detailing what work needs to be done, by when and by whom
- Identify and manage risks and issues involved in delivering the project
- Ensure that work is delivered to the right quality standard
- Manage the work delivered by the project team
- Ensure that the project is running on time and to budget
- Escalate internally when appropriate
- Manage changes to the project when necessary
- Ensure that the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits
- Hold project closure with entire project team meeting to document lessons learned, project status and any future opportunities
- Conduct sales transition meeting with account sales executive to ensure feedback is given
Client Interaction & People Skills
Represent Axsium to our clients in the following ways, leading the Axsium team as needed:
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Exercise critical thinking and problem solving
- Apply a commonsense approach and be able to prioritize activities
- Utilize exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manage conflict resolution
- Coach others on project management
REQUIREMENTS
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify gaps and propose alternative solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail as well as be comfortable selling their ideas to client's project team through discussion and presentation
- Works well as part of a team or on their own with minimal supervision
- Deadline driven, confident, open to taking initiative, ability to multi-task
- 5+ years of consulting and project management experience in the WFM field
- 5+ years of workforce management experience developing and executing on workforce management
- 5+ years of experience working with workforce management technologies including but not limited to labor forecasting, schedule optimization, time keeping, budgeting and task management
- Experience working with UKG PRO WFM and/or Workforce Management Software vendors
- Experience working with remote teams
- Travel may be required
- University or College degree
