**About this role**
**Viessmann Climate Solutions** is looking for a **Shipper/Receiver** to ensure timely, accurate, and safe, movement of material and/or product within the warehouse. The Shipper/Receiver needs to be flexible to work in any other areas of the production or assembly and maintain area cleanliness.
This is an **onsite** role Monday to Friday 1st day shift at our **Waterloo ON location** .

+ Assemble large and small products i.e., from light assembly & packaging to larger sub-assembly production
+ Continuous organization of product in the warehouse and assembly areas to maximize warehouse space and efficiency

+ Maintain an organized clean warehouse and work areas
**Basic Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 6 months of basic computer skills
+ 1 year plus experience in shipping, receiving, retail or warehousing
+ Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, i.e., heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the entire shift
+ Willing and able to obtain lift truck certification

+ Several products received to Quality Status for C of A generation before shipment
+ Dock management: Balancing incoming, outgoing trailers with material shunts to and from the off-site warehouse to feed production.
+ Management scrap/recycled flow from production departments to coordinate full trailer loads for shipment
+ Warehouse mill supplies management
+ Trailer and container inspections
+ Provide Support for Daily material movements
+ Ongoing feedback and SRM for multiple carriers
+ Daily interactions with 3M groups outside the plant, including transportation, export operations, customs, and TDG
+ Heavy daily interaction with the planning group to coordinate customer shipments, including expedites
+ Heavy lifting may be required at times
**Your Skills and Expertise**

+ Completion of High School or equivalent

**Role Summary**
+ Check Bills of Lading against Purchase Orders for quantity, delivery date and specification number for all inbound shipments of inventoried and non-inventoried items and thereby authorize disposition after said verification.
+ Off load finishing supplies and raw materials.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the safe operation of equipment/work center and achieving standard output requirements.
+ Responsible for product identification such as lot numbers and work order numbers.
+ Able to cross-train on other shipping and receiving processes
+ Effectively participates in group activities through effective communications and overall group performance.
+ Engage in IL6S activities including Daily Management Systems, pillar membership, work process ownership and AM activities
+ All other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor
+ Check Bills of Landing against Purchase Orders for quantity, delivery date and specification number for all inbound shipments of inventoried items and thereby authorize appropriate disposition after said verification. Write appropriate receiving reports.
+ Deliver "received" non-inventoried items to appropriate departments.
+ Maintain filing systems for all purchase orders and related paperwork transactions with regards to outside storage and material returns.
+ Responsible for monitoring the unloading of all bulk raw materials, i.e. glucose, glycerin, and high-test glucose ensuring all materials are delivered to the correct tanks. Also responsible for inventory control of bulk raw material. Deliver physical sample of glycerin, high test glucose to Quality Assurance for approval.
+ Responsible for shipping of finished products and documentation
+ Responsible for running of the auto-palletizer for shipping processed/finished goods.
+ Always maintain standards of housekeeping and security in the receiving and warehouse area.
+ Distribute Receiving Reports on all daily transactions to appropriate departments.
+ Communicate deviations from standard practice to supervisor in charge.
+ Load rejected finished/unfished goods on trailer & process documentation.
+ Maintain truck logbook.
+ Arrange for pick-up of pallets.
+ Sugar silo recirculation.
+ On-load cardboard bails.
+ Arrange for courier shipments from all departments including the completion of appropriate documents to ensure efficient, accurate delivery of packages.
+ Observe all safety rules, practices and procedures in performance of duties.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our Warehouse team. The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • Loading and unloading of trucks

  • Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas

  • Complete and verify bills of lading

  • Preparation of customs documentation for exporting product to USA

  • Inspect and verify incoming materials against invoices or other documentation

  • Scheduling and coordinating deliveries as needed

  • Accurately labeling completed product

  • Order picking

  • Wrapping skids

  • Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control

  • Package and label items in accordance with sales orders and transfer requests

  • Ensure hose assemblies, inspection kits, and implement packages are performed daily or as requested

  • Responsible for walkway snow removal ad hoc

  • Support sales department

  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures

  • Comply with all Health & Safety related policies, procedures, and safe work practices

  • Other duties as assigned
