Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and a strong understanding of SAP’s cloud offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and deploying cloud applications using SAP BTP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design solutions that improve business processes, optimize system performance, and help clients in their digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications on SAP BTP .
• Integrate SAP BTP solutions with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and other SAP systems.
• Design and implement extensions using SAP Business Application Studio , SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) , and SAP Fiori/UI5 .
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Utilize SAP BTP services such as SAP Integration Suite , SAP Extension Suite , SAP Mobile Services , and others to create scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of BTP applications with third-party solutions using API Management and other SAP BTP integration tools.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot SAP BTP applications to ensure high performance and availability.
• Work in an agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP BTP innovations and best practices.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP development with at least 2 years focused on SAP BTP .
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio , SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) , and SAP Fiori/UI5 .
• Proficiency in JavaScript , Node.js , and SAP HANA Cloud .
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP services including SAP Integration Suite , SAP Extension Suite , and API Management .
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration between SAP BTP and on-premise/cloud SAP systems.
• Knowledge of OData Services , RESTful APIs , and microservices architecture .
• Familiarity with cloud security , data management , and DevOps processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• SAP BTP certifications are a plus.

The Role

We are seeking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer to join our team and help implement the latest SAP technology. Responsibilities

• Use Node.js, Java, or Python to build BTP services/microservices.
• Write reusable code, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation.
• Monitor application health and debug complex issues across environments.
• Work with SAP UI5 developers to connect frontend and backend components.
• Create and execute unit tests or collaborate with QA on unit and integration testing strategies.
• Participate in architecture decisions and propose improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of backend development experience, including:
  • 2+ years hands-on with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma, CAP, BTP services).
  • Solid experience with Node.js, Java/or Python is an important asset.
• Familiar with SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, and BTP Security (OAuth2).
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, K8s is a plus).
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills in distributed systems.
• Experience with AI or Generative AI is a strong plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowing French is considered an asset.
• Experience with SAP Builds (SAP Build Process Automation, LowCode/NoCode), SAP AI Capabilies, Integration Suite is considered an asset.

**Overview**
Panasonic Canada Inc. is currently looking to hire for the position of **SAP Functional Analyst/FICO.**
Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, documents, and implements technology solutions to support Panasonic's IT strategy and business objectives and provides cost benefits. Leads, and manages the development of new applications and in support of existing systems. Manages projects of medium to large size including development and management of project plans, scope, budget, resources assigned to the project as well as various communications with project team, steering committee, and stakeholders.
Ensures projects meet the defined requirements including monitoring of all issues and resolutions. Coordinates the analysis and design of automated solutions to business problems or application software which directly affects the availability, functionality and reliability of products and systems to end users.
Collaborates with Process owners, subject matter experts and other business users in order to fully understand departmental/corporate objectives, to gather business and functional requirements as they relate to new development projects or system enhancements and to recommend and/or implement process changes to help achieve their goals.

Proficient in business process analysis, functional knowledge and configuration experience required in FICO SAP application area. SAP Certification for FICO is required. Certified PMP is an asset.
